We are Alex and Kelly, the new owners (as of June '26) of Hull 1458, or as we have name it, "The Odyssey." We've been looking at Olivers for a number of years and just couldn't settle, I suspect even frustrating Jason somewhere along the line as he patiently tried to help us make up our minds a couple times. As providence would have it, Hull 1458 (which happens to be a special number for us) popped up for sale early in 2026, and we were able to work out a deal with the former owners (Art and Jill), who graciously waited for Kelly to finish teaching in May this year so we could drive cross country from Florida to Oregon, then take about three months traveling back home and taking in some amazing sites in this beautiful Country we call home (video highlights attached)... We're looking forward to the Rally at Lake Guntersville (THANKS Adam!) later this month... See you all there!!

We are Anna and Steve from Staten Island New York. We've been arving since 2009. We camped in a camp in tear drop trailer from 2009 to 2014 and then we purchased a casita Fiboglass trailer in 2014 that we sold and we never should have We now own a grand design. Imagine,2026 which is our third RV that we are extremely unhappy with. We are looking forward to purchasing an Oliver 2027 Elite. We have just completed a 13,000 mile trip from Staten Island New York to Fairbanks. Alaska and back.

Hello all, just joined and happily waiting for delivery of my Apex 23 the first of October. Wondering if a few of “yall” owners would share information on the types of blocks/chalks, hitch lock, ladder and/or other Oliver unique items you’d suggest I get before delivery. Thanks!

Hi all, my Wife and I were hoping to get the Oliver Elite I as that's what our SUV can tow. I know the production has been on pause but does anyone have any insight on if a similar towing capacity model is in the works? And timeline? We will also be first time RV/trailer owners, so we appreciate any advice and guidance. We've read a lot about Oliver's built and durability but also considering a class B.

	Hi all,

First off, thanks to all of the Oliver forum members who post comments and Q&As. The info we’ve gained from periodically checking the forum activity was incredibly helpful in our decision to buy an Oliver, and in figuring out which model and options would work best for us.

Although it took more than a year of research, we finally made the leap this past June! We will be picking up our 2027 Oliver Legacy Elite II (Twin Bed floorplan) on September 8th — Hull #1735.

We were tent campers for about 40 years and spent the last 8 years camping throughout the Carolinas and Virginia in a 15-foot Taxa Cricket. We are really looking forward to the next chapter of traveling and exploring the country in our Ollie.

Lurked in the halls for a few years and finally found an elite 1, hull #939. Tow with a 2017 Toyota Tundra and don't even realize it's back there, lol.

We plan on just leaving the rear table down as a bed and sleep on the cushions, but feel it could use a little more luxury. Ou question is, what toppers would be suggested from those that'd have them?

Can't wait to hear some suggestions and really can't wait to get the Oliver out for more trips.

Good day all! Wanted to share my hull number and the selected name of my Apex 23 that I’ll be picking up Oct 7th at the Mothership if all goes according to plans.

In honor of the hull number I’m choosing a name taken from the writings of Thomas Jefferson (who was born in 1743) along with a “tongue in cheek” nod to part of military career as an Infantry Officer. His “Cannons of Conduct” contain 12 wonderful recommendations about how we should live our lives that I wholeheartedly agree with. So hopefully all will welcome myself, my pups and “Cannon Fodder” to the group.
Cheers!
We live in Maryville, TN and look forward to meeting everyone out on the road. Cheers!

Hey all, I purchased a 2022 legacy elite 2 last summer hull number 1018. So far I have used it about 40 nights and have made a few small adjustments to make it as comfortable as possible. The reason for my post is i would like to go to a rally or do a tour with some other owners but have noticed a majority of other ollie owners are significantly older than i am. My vision would be to tour Wyoming, Montana, or Utah and make stops centered around mountain biking, dirt biking, rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking/fishing. I guess this is a feeler to see how many of us would be interested in something like that. I hope everyone has a good week and those on the road have safe travels.

I love my wife Chris, and as each year goes by it becomes ever more so apparent! We purchased our Oliver just days short of a year ago and we love being together in our travels, no matter where we camp for the night, good or bad. I share this thought today with my virtual Oliver family.

I do my things and she does hers and the best things are the times we spend together. She often asks, “How’s the blog going?” She’s referring to this forum and she is always interested. I tell her stories regarding y’alls antics, often over a drink or two before dinner. She listens and smiles, what a smile. Today is a very special day for us, as it is our 30th wedding anniversary!

I have a difficult job every year from June 1st to June 7th. Her birthday being the latter date. Last year, as you can see, it was easy as can be, as to her surprise I brought home an Oliver! 😊

What in the world can I do this year! Good thing we do not need to top the great times we’ve had and will always have together. I write this for my partner in life. Love you, Chrissy.

Wife, puppy, and I just bought hull 327, a 2018 LE2, and are bringing her from Arizona to her new home in the Lost Sierras/Lake Davis CA. We’ve owned a coleman pop-up, and a big 5th wheel with slides in our past life… and after TONS of research (including understanding how bomb-proof ocean-crossing fiberglass sailboats are constructed), we couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of the Oliver trailers.

	Hello,

I’ve been on the forum for some years and I’m closing into retirement and making my decision. Started with Ollie years ago, drifted over to the Escape, then Bigfoot camps as I thought the Ollie too expensive, small and overbuilt. Now with the tariffs I was forced to reconsider them as they are US based, and realized it was for me. Escape 23 is pretty expensive now for what you get. Bigfoot length/width was silently bothering me for handling, plus the old school decor isn’t great. I toured one, a big issue is interior height. My head brushes the ceiling and I barely fit in the bathroom. I’d have to crouch to shower. Plus I’d have to do a bunch of mods, they don’t even offer lithium, and the tongue weight pushes the limits on my TV.

So with the Ollie I’ve got the interior height I want. The size is fine for a couples camper, plus an easy to tow and park size. Especially with the Black cushions it’s an elegant interior. Finally, I’m retiring from engineering and don’t really want to DIY. Done enough engineering projects in my time, once you start you’re never done 😅. The Ollie is the only one that comes exactly as I want. So I’ll be placing an order later summer

 Platinum twin

 Composting

 Street awning

Platinum batteries (more than I need but might as well, plus I like the integrated heating)

Now to make the horrific price easier I’m actually extending my retirement date. It’s free money if it’s past my nominal date, right? 😅

Only thing is I might actually buy sight unseen. No nearby dealers, nor LE II twin. Shouldn’t be a problem …

	Cheers

	Greetings,

I just purchased a 2022 Oliver. It is the Legacy, Elite II. This is my first RV and it has been interesting learning about the various systems. So far I haven’t made any costly mistakes. I need to find my way to an empty parking lot and practice backing up. Until that becomes muscle memory, I likely won’t venture too far away from home.

I hope to spend a lot of time in British Columbia, Canada. I enjoy trout fishing and I think that region will allow me to find some nice fishing and allow me to boondock on Crown Land.

Wishing all of you safe travels in the sunny days ahead.

	Hi everyone,

I just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been interested in travel trailers and RV systems for a while and recently started learning more about the technical side of things, especially electrical setups, batteries, and solar systems.

I don’t own an Oliver yet, but I’ve been researching different trailer options and the Oliver models caught my attention because of their fiberglass construction and overall build quality.

I’m also really interested in how people are setting up lithium batteries, solar charging, and energy management for off-grid camping. There seems to be a lot of great knowledge in this community, so I’m looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Thanks for having me and I’m excited to be part of the forum.

I might be ready to buy a used Oliver Elite II (older than 2022) twin bed by June or July. (Fingers crossed) I've been researching the Oliver for at least two years now. I had to do some other things first. Got my master's degree and started developing an online biology course for high schoolers (I'm a teacher). It's time to find an Oliver.

I've owned campers before and love life in the outdoors. It sure would be nice to find one with special features for off-gridding.

I will be networking to speak with anyone who wants to sell their Oliver come summer time. I'm not interested in going through a dealership, though.

Some of you may be disappointed that she is no longer a monster adventure rig, but I am over the moon now that I can tow her. It was quite the odyssey to collect all of the pieces and find the right person to set things right, but she is back together and our adventures together have begun!

Hello to all! We are the new owners of a 2019 LEII, Hull 514, as of last week! We have owned travel trailers for about 20 years and started seriously looking at fiberglass trailers about 6 months ago. We are looking forward to our first trip in the next few weeks. We plan to do a lot of boon-docking in out-of-the way NFS campgrounds for trout fishing, hiking, etc. and our large toy hauler was NOT suitable for that.

Hull 514 did not come with an inverter or any solar, so I am installing Lithium batteries and an inverter over the next few weeks and then will add some solar charging capabilities. I'll probably create a post about that project after I'm done in case it helps others who are in the same boat. I have already enjoyed and gathered great ideas reading about the various approaches others have taken on this forum. We will likely convert to the Twin layout eventually as well. I also plan to swap out to 30 lb Propane tanks and add my LevelMate Pro this weekend (both from my current camper).

Anyway, just wanted to do a quick intro for this very active and informative group. Glad to be in the family!

Water leaks from the little holes around the rim, when hooked up to city water. And fills the toilet in just a few hours.

	Hello all,

We purchase a 2019 Oliver Elite II, hull number 448 on Sept. 9th, 2025. We been talking about buying one for years. About 4 years ago we were visiting friends near Nashville and stopped by the Oliver plant to take a tour. At the time, we wanted to buy one, but decided it was a bit too much money for us. We put it off, but in the meantime, I had joined the FB used Oliver trailer group. I saw one come up for sale that wasn't far from us, so I talked to my wife about going to look at it. She we in, and a few days later I was towing our new, used Oliver home.

	It's our first travel trailer.

We haven't used it yet. The previous owner had problems with the Truma AquaGo water heater and removed it. My wife will want warm water when we do use it, so I was able to contact a local mobile RV Truma installer. We should have a new one installed tomorrow. Next I want to overhaul the suspension and tires. After that, I think we're ready to plan some trips. 🙂
