Update: Warranty Repair Completed. I received an immediate reply from both Jason E. (Oliver) and Progressive Industries the same day. Progressive sent me a new transfer switch, along with a return shipping label for Fedex Ground. It took about 5 days for the part to arrive, and it took me about 30 minute to replace the switch. The only tricky part is that removing the actual switch requires that you remove all the cables first, then remove the screws holding the box down. You can only reach the back left screw by rotating the box counter clockwise to reveal that screw in the back. (Normally you can't reach that screw.) I also used a right angle bit for my power screwdriver.2 points

Well, we decided to name ours “The Lone Star Oliver”. We even had those words on the side of the trailer in place of “Legacy Elite II”. We never say, “Let’s hook up the Lone Star Oliver and go on a trip.”, we always just say “the trailer” or “Ollie” or “Oliver”. Last year I took the lettering off the side of the trailer because everyone kept asking where in Texas it was made. It was a nice conversation starter for a few years, but got a little tedious, so now we’re incognito. Mike1 point

"Say Good night, Gracie". Really liked them both even though I was/am a bit too young for that time. Bill1 point

We had "Amazing Grace" stenciled on her, hence Gracie. I've started calling my F250 George. If you are an oldster, you'll get the reference.1 point

Galway Girl - due to family connections and a "naming contest" with our 3 adult daughters... Back Story: When we ordered our unit, we had to wait from April to August for pickup date. We decided to have a name the Oliver contest during a family summer vacation. We setup a 4 night competition...sort of like the final 4 in basketball. We had 4 couples and started with each couple providing 8 names....next night cut to 4....then to 2...finally a vote off. We had some really funny names provided...but in our case the number one name was Galway Girl because of our family history/connections...and the fact that all 3 of our children were girls!.... Our second place name 4-ever-hitched became the name for our blog post...and if you want to see our trip to pickup our ollie...it's here... https://4-ever-hitched.com/1 point

I’m new here and this is my first post, so I hope you don’t mind if I provide a bit of input to your question before I introduce myself. I’ve driven HYW 25 between Cheyenne and Buffalo a time or two, although it isn’t the normal route that I take each year between my home in PA and our summer destination along the Yellowstone River south of Livingston, MT. (I don’t recall anything in particular about this section of highway, pro or con). I do have a number of friends that always stay at the Deer Park Campground in Buffalo whenever they travel to or from the Livingston, MT area every year and most of them consider Buffalo, WY as a comfortable day’s travel from Livingston, MT, but it is more than a 4 hour drive if that’s what you’re planning. I also have a retired dentist friend and his wife that live in Buffalo, and a couple years ago he drove between Livingston and Buffalo every week all summer when he was still working there one day a week. One of the best RV Parks in SW MT is Yellowstone’s Edge RV Park, 18 miles south of Livingston, MT, which is right on the river, and on HWY 89 South, which goes to Gardiner and Yellowstone National Park. If you’re looking for something more primitive, there a multiple places along the HWY between Livingston and the Park where you could stop with your trailer to spend the night. John1 point

Almost twelve years later, the trailer still is just the Oliver. I do love reading the new names and stories.1 point

Wow, John what a wonderful post. The photos are terrific and the information is very helpful. We're hoping to get out west next year and really want to go to Glacier. I put this in my bookmarks.1 point

"The Wonder Egg". Because 11 years ago, Oliver put so many fabulous things on my trailer that other brands would not accommodate. It was a wondrous thing!1 point

I know that many of the folks out in the mountain west know what they are doing with snowy weather. However, this storm is one for the record books - and even people that are "used to it" just may be caught off guard. That along with visitors that are not as experienced could combine for some real bad situations. Please be careful out there! Bill1 point
