After purchasing a standard floor plan new, we decided converting from a bed to seating and back again was going to be just more that we wanted to do everyday so, I converted it to a modified twin bed myself. A little expense and a little effort and we love it! I needed the extra width at the head of the bed so we added a 18" x 36" "fill in" mattress between the two twins. Before and After pictures. Sharing pics of a lagun table installed in our Oliver. If we were ordering new (or select in our used purchase) we would have looked for a twin bed model, but we have the standard floor plan. We’re not a fan of leaving the queen bed made or leaving the large dinning table up, as it consumes so much space and feels more open without. Therefore we installed a lagun table. If my to-do list wasn’t so long I would have made the table top, but opted for the manufactures tabletop (beautiful, but pricey).

We picked up our Legacy Elite II on 22 Nov 2019. We are complete trailer novices and had a very ambitious plan. First to Florida to see family, then get quickly back to Alberta (Wild Rose Country) before the mid - west storms could get any worse. Lucked out with clear sunny skies most of the way home. Chilly nights not a problem with the great heater and insulation of the Oliver. Southern Alberta “Ice Fog” added to the fun driving. We found a nice clean and warm farm building for storage for the next few months. Planning on heading north, even further north, in the summer.

Mike is right about the frequent stops for gas and that is also what drove me (initially) to a larger tow vehicle. Prior to getting my Oliver I was towing a 15 foot "stick built" hybrid camper across Kansas into a 40 mph headwind. My gas mileage with the Tacoma was 4 miles per gallon. With the 18 gallon tank it wasn't very long between fuel stops. However, within safety margins one usually has to dance with the girl you brought to the party - at least for a little while. I’m opening myself up for ridicule, but here’s my current tow vehicle. Long story how we ended up with this vehicle and an Oliver, but had it been planned out better we wouldn’t have paired these two together (Jeep came first in July with no intention of getting a LE2, let alone an Oliver which we got in Oct). Loaded with LP, water, misc payload in the trailer and Jeep, I’m just under the max on GCVWR, payload and tw. We’ve taken it on a couple trips so far, but no significant elevation climbs. But I know when that happens I’ll be in the right lane with the semi’s climbing the hill...

I am going to install a vent high up to the left of the bathroom door. It was a Fall project, but Winter decided to visit. If you have ever had the bathroom fan going, and closed the door, you have heard it struggle to get enough air. By the same token, it must be hard for heated air to get in there, through the heating system, with the door closed or the vent closed (restricted). The hope is with freer flowing air there will be less noise from the furnace system.
