  1. On our way to Kentucky we stayed at another Harvest Host location. This is Century Farm Winery in Jackson, TN. Had a nice tasting and sat by the vineyards sipping our purchase! Good location and friendly folks.

  2. Thought some of you who are considering buying an Ollie or taking a factory tour, but haven't, might get a kick out of this pic I took in Hohenwald, at the OTT factory-showroom. Why, yes, it's an entire field of Ollies! Taken from across the lot from the OTT factory-showroom. Just thought it was kinda cool.

  4. In the resent past I have used Cycle trader and Craigs list to sell 2 motorcycles. I was inundated with scam phone calls and texts, both sold but less than 10% of interested buyers showed up for their appointment so be patient and don't go out of your way for anyone! You have a beauty full trailer for sale. Good luck

  5. Been raining for two+ days. Covered it earlier, but did have some corrosion starting to develop. Cleaned contacts and all is well. Thanks.

  6. Sometimes moisture/water in the trailer side of the 7 way plug will cause phantom light issues. It is worth looking at. I always hang my plug with the plug-in connection pointing down to prevent moisture problems. Mossey

  7. So, yesterday, we finally had occasion to use the generator, when we built an outdoor shower and camp sink platform for the shabin, up on our camping propertyin NC. The gen was (understandably) louder, pretty close to full load, powering Paul's old 2 hp craftsman skill saw, but not very loud charging the Makita 18v batteries for the drill. But, it worked great. Our little Honda 1000 could not have powered the saw. With our solar upgrade to 400 watts fixed, and 200 watts portable, we haven't needed to connect to the Ollie yet, in a week. Weather is predicted to change though. If we get those predicted all day rains, I'll be happy to have the genset.

  9. Cool, I count 11 but were there more to the right? When we collected “Mouse” in May 2017 there were just 4, parked on a scruffy gravel back lot.... John Davies Spokane WA

  10. When we pulled into My Old Kentucky Home State Park campground (small campground) there was another Oliver already here. Hull 781, Cliff and Stacey were on the maiden trip home from picking their new trailer. We had a good visit! Mike

  11. I updated the Drawer Lock post: I used the 5 lb. pull latch. I updated the Amazon link in the original post. I guess the supplier no longer offers the 5 lb. version and the original link pointed to an 8 lb. pull latch. Mossey

  12. I like that it worked for you. Thanks for the link. I have a "new" drawer under the fridge that very occasionally comes open. This looks better than typical child safety latch.

  13. My game developer son loves the Raspberry Pi’s, he made me a Pi Hole ad blocker for my home network. It works very well, when we travel we both notice how many more ads appear, even with device ad blocker apps installed. Those Victron Energy cables are crazy expensive, aren’t they? 😬I do mods all the time and it is insane how much you can spend, especially when you have to buy hardware or other parts online in bulk quantities. I needed just two 2” white plastic hole plugs, but I had to buy 25 ... anybody need some? Thanks very much for your posts. I do suggest that you start a new one each time with the subject in the title; that would help other members to find the information..... not everybody reads every single post, like some of us with too much spare time. 14. Welcome to the Oliver Family, Mr J! I loved your description of watching your neighbors get new trailers every few years, primarily because SOB trailers (Some Other Brand) are built poorly and don't last very long. You will be happy with your decision to go with an Oliver!

  16. Please submit a service order about what appears to be an ongoing problem with how these are being installed. It sounds as if the pilot hole in the frame was drilled too big, which is an easy mistake to make, but it does present problems; the next larger screw diameter may fix it, but the head will be a little bigger too. If they are using “self drilling” screws instead of regular ones, that is OK but only if the clip holes are larger, so that the clips can pull down tight and flat to the frame. The clip must be free moving in relation to the screw threads. Post some closeup pictures here for a more detailed opinion😬 John Davies Spokane WA

  17. Here's additional shade information. We had some cords to wear out and replaced some of them a few years ago. Found it best to replace with the same diameter cord, using larger diameter cord makes the assembly stick when I replaced some. Can't find the original cord diameter in my notes.

  18. Sometimes the clip is slightly misaligned and you can't easily push the shade into place. If that's the case, forcing it might bend the clip. You can try feeling behind the shade to see if the clip is aligned to the channel, and if it's not, you can usually wiggle the shade enough to get it aligned. You can also try pulling the blind completely off and seeing if the clip is bent, twisted, etc. Or, if they all seem OK, then you can try putting the blind back on by snapping the problem clip in first. Sometimes the clips are just a little off and if you get the troublesome one in place first, then the others will line up enough to snap in.

  19. Here is a picture of both fans for reference. The white Caframo fan is 12v and cost $99. The black Lemoistar fan is 5v USB and cost $16. Each fan has a different purpose for me. The Caframo is generally used for cooling or air movement. The Lemoistar replaced the fan below which topgun2 gave me to help reduce false alarms from the Atwood propane/CO sensor under the dinette table. The USB flexible stick fan lasted about 2 weeks for me. So I ordered a 3 pack from Amazon, sent one to topgun2 to replace his. And my new one last 3 weeks. Then I ordered the Lemoistar for mounting on the wall under the table. And it works well for the intended purpose. I ultimately replaced the Atwood sensor which solved the false alarm issue. So we now use the Lemoistar where ever needed. But we never travel with either fan mounted or unsecured. Mossey

  20. Patriot i like them. The suction works well hadn’t fallen off yet, very quite. Lying in bed about 5’ away you can feel the air moving. As others have shown there are a lot of different types out there. I’m happy 👍🏼

  22. This is what I have been looking for. Knew I had put those do-hickie "thingies" in the camper spare parts can for something. What surprises me is that I am caught up to a 2018 "To Do List".

  23. Has anyone had trouble with your pleats not folding properly when opening the privacy section? While in storage, I've left them open hoping that the heat will help them "remember" what they're supposed to do. I'll find out tomorrow if it worked.
