I noticed you have a 2018 model. the 2017 model that i have doesnt have a satellite plug that i am aware of. My outdoor plug only has one inlet and it for cable. I thought that connecting there i could get power to the dome but it doesnt.
Im going to email Jason and see what modification i need

I had the opportunity to attend the FMCA ( Family Motor Coach Association) which is now opened to owners of travel trailers like the Oliver. If you haven’t join, I strongly suggest that you go to their website and see the advantages and benefits of being a member. I attended numerous seminars and was pleased learning of all the “issues”that are out there in the RV world and how Oliver seems to have managed to overcome most of them. Makes me happy I made the choice to buy the Oliver. I want to share some of the things I picked up which I think a lot of us can use Most of these tips came from Gary Bunzer also known as the RV Doctor. I am not promoting any product, just giving you what I learned.
Tip 1 Tires: those products used on the tires in showrooms to make them look glossy are really not good to use in the long run. Suggest that instead use a product called 303 Protectant.
Tip 2 Tires: on the wall of your tires is a DOT with 4 numbers. The first 2 are the week the tires were manufactured and the last 2 the year.. if you are buying new tires make sure they are “new”. You might think they are new because they might have never been used but they could be 3 or 4 years old and those tires have therefore deteriorated just sitting at the store.
Tip 3 Propane system. Carry a spare regulator especially if you do a lot of boondocking.. a faulty regulator will not allow you to use your furnace, stove, refrigerator, hot water heater, and therefore ruining your trip. If one of your propane systems is not working but the others are, then it’s not the regulator.
Tip 4 Battery service Three key words: clean dry and tight.. Recomend that use a product called Deoxit to put on all you connections..comes in spray and liquid form can be used on all your electrical connections
Tip 5 Septic odors Helpful add ons for odor control
A Install a 360 Siphon Vent Cap (from Lippert Components ) on the roof vent There is one already installed on the Oliver but don’t know what brand it is
B Pure Power Blue ( made by Valterra) There are hundreds of products out there but this is the one he recommends after testing many
C Eliminate the PTraps in the kitchen and sink and instead install a HepvO Waterless Sanitary Valve ( made by HepvO) this product will never fail and it also eliminates the ASTVD valve that allows air in the system to allow water to drain smoothly from you sink
Tip 6 Sewer hose: Having test many sewer hoses the Wastemaster Sewer hose with Cam locks ( made by Lippert Components)is the best. You will never buy another hose again, It eliminates the bayonet style lock which is really old and should not be used. All commercial users who move any kind of liquids use the cam locks. this hose has a fully sealed shut off nozzle on the sewer side and a positive camloc attachment at the dump outlet on the RV ‘Tis is a solid , secure, leak free hose connection especially how the Oliver has the hose permanently hooked up . So I bought a King Dish portable receiver and proceeded to do the installation. Now the installation manual states that the dome will gets its power from the Wally dish receiver when connected with coax cable but when I connect the coax cable via the cable outlet on the rear of the Ollie and then connect a coax from the inside cable box to the Wally receiver it doesn’t get electric to power the dome. I understand there is a spitter somewhere between the inside and outside cable connections. Anybody out there dealt with this issue.?

Mountainoliver is correct. Its an electric switch that closes the grey water from backing up in the shower basin. Its in the closet as he states, but make sure you put that item on your to do list when leaving or ariving in a camp site. When its opened the switch has a blinking red light and when its closed there is no light on. I have forgotten to do this twice and was lucky to have caught it before the grey water overflowed into the main camper floor. Now its on my check list!

I haven't gotten the clip yet. Its supposed to arrive tomorrow and i think they are only sending the clip. Will keep you all posted> I obviously don't have a rivet gun so we shall see how i do the repair

Well when i picked up my Olliver in Nov 2017 was told that they were inflated to 60 psi when i left that day. I have installed the TPS system and when i am on the road they are running at 80 psi. So i concur with John Davis can Oliver give us a DEFINITE answer please

I was putting out the Carefree awning for the first time and as I was extending the arms to secure them to the trailer the orange clip that has tightens the are broke off. Contacted Jason who immediately ordered me a new one at no expense even though the Carefree warranty doesn’t cover that part. Good outcome to a stupid issue

Im going to comment on an issue i have had driving the Oliver (Hull 275 )last week
I tow with a 2017 Ford F150 King Ranch with all the bells and whistles. On my last trip which was about 7 hours i got several messages that said "trailer disconnected". I stop to check and all was good, the lights worked so i continued. On my phone i have the Ford app that monitors my truck and i saw that i had 4 messages that said "Electric Trailer Break Connection" It further says that what is happening is that the trailer has become disconnected or a wiring fault occurred that is causing the trailer to appear disconnected. It further says that if the trailer Disconnected message is displayed: stop the vehicle as soon as possible and turn off the engine. Check the trailer connections. If the wiring fault on trailer message is displayed with no trailer connected, contact an authorized dealer asap. With the trailer connected consult the trailer dealer/repair facility for assistance . Today i tool the tow vehicle to the Ford dealership and had them run a diagnostic on the trailer connect and all was good. So now do i look to Oliver TT for guidance or is the issue as has been stated here something with the grounding of the trailer.

Mark it was banging around because it was not secured to anything as I mentioned it is pretty heavy too. It’s a brace for what I believe is the side of the bed as it fits underneath the outer side of the twin bed.
The advise was and I quote “it will probably require a shim to make a tighter fit “. So I guess I will put sone wood shims and hope it doesn’t be some loose again

i Just came home to north Georgia from Destin Florida and when I was preparing to winterize the trailer again (third)
as I was opening the hatch where the water controls are I found this “brick” . Apparently it had “moved” from its spot which I assumed was under the bed. I emailed Jason today and he said that the block is supposed to be under the floor It isn’t secured as it must be removable if there is a need to access or service the tanks. If it is sliding under the floor it’s because it has too much clearance and moving around freely could damage the water lines. He suggested that I should put a shim to make it a tighter fit. fYI

ok so I just thought of something and I am asking the fellow bloggers for help.
i will soon need to rotate the tires on the Oliver and since all 5 tires ar the same size I thought that I should rotate them all..
But WHERE? I don’t think I can pull up to my Walmart tire store and they can take the trailer to rotate the tires. So where do you suggest? And no, I’m too old to do that myself!

Well the good news to all who helped me thru this ordeal... the problem was two blown fuses that where bradbev had taken the pictures. Bought a six pack just in case in the future, replaced the bad ones and we are good to go. I'm going with the premise that been in subfreezing temperatures for about a w their equipment and what is installed in aeek and as was trying to raise them the fuses couldn't handle the strain.
The bad news is that as I have complaint to Oliver when I took delivery in Nov 2017, they didn't provide me with any of the manuals or instructions on the different equipment because they said that they don't do that as its all online at the Oliver University page on their website. Not true as this situation shows. They only have the front jack but there is nothing on the two back ones. So if I had not had the help of my fellow bloggers here, I would have been out of luck until Monday when I would have had to call the factory for help. The other issue I also have is that manufactures are constantly updating their equipment and what is installed in newer models doesn't jive with whats online. I guess that's my rant for today. Thanks for all who responded.

Yes both rear power jacks are not working and
Battery charged and I am also on electric
What I cant find is where the jack fuses terminal for the jacks are. Both jacks on the top of the jack says 30 amps but I don't see where they are

This morning as was getting the Ollie ready to travel, i started to raise the back power jacks and they started up and then slowly stopped. I had to crank them manually to be able to leave the house. I thought maybe the cold weather had something to do with it but I am now in 50:degrees weather and still won’t work. Had to crank them down to be able to park the rig. Any suggestions what’s causing this?

I noticed today that the tire placard on the Oliver says that the recommended tire pressure is 80 psi. Now when I took delivery last month Rich told me to keep it at 60 psi as the averaged weight of the Oliver is about 5000 lbs. with “stuff”
so add that to the thread...????

That’s what I love about this forum. A member has an issue and immediately the members provide solutions to the problem.
Got to love the Oliver gang
it also helps me when I have a problem and I remember the discussions here at the forum. And since they are all specific to Oliver’s it better than looking for solutions somewhere else.

I financed with Bank of the Ozarks working with Anita and is was painless. A 10,000 dollar deposit at signing the order to proceed, and Oliver worked with the bank and all i needed to do was on the day of pickup sign the bank documents that Oliver had ready for signature and the bank paid Oliver directly. We got a 20 year loan which is like a home loan and the interest paid is tax deductible.

I bought one and had Richie @Oliver set it up to my TV a 2017 F150 8 cylinders. Towed the Oliver from Hohenwald to Lake Guntersville in Alabama and back to Northern Georgia. Tows nice and was going 65 to 70 on the interstate without any issues.
