  1. Well, never needed to winterize here but this years cold and long freeze has us looking for leaks. Before calling someone we like to have an idea as to where the leak might be.  Here is what we have found.

    1.  Cracked water pump strainer...replaced         2.  Sureflo accumulator leaks when pump turned on....                                                       3.  Water runs from blue tube to the ground....

Not sure what else I should check.  Had a heater running inside but at some point the GFI tripped and I am not sure how long.

What do I do now?                                         Any recommendations?

    Thanks

  2. Thanks for your reply ScubaRX and Maverick. Let me first say any encounter with the Service Dept. has been nothing but the best. Jason is so knowledgeable, thorough and competent. And Cindy, well she adds volumes to the quality of service.  That being said, we expected the same from our first maintenance checkup.  It is not a package Maverick, but the same service you stated in your response.  I was asked if there was anything that I needed to have checked...maybe because this was our first year with our Oliver. The shower door dragged and was crooked total replacement and time consuming plus  a couple of little quick fixes.  When we picked up our Oliver there were things that needed attention but time very time consuming so we need to take it somewhere else locally to have three items serviced. I consider big items not quick fixes. We live quite a distance away and have to go to someone else to finish the things Jason found.   All is under
warranty and we understand the time constraints.
However the trailer was pretty dirty when we picked  it up. The floors were very dirty, the rugs were cleaned by Jason, but were still pretty wet. I did not expect all to be in the same order when we picked it up but I also did not expect to have to clean as soon as we got back to the campground. This is not quite what I expected from Oliver.  Looking back I should have said something to Jason at the time but it was raining and late on a Friday.  All had left for the weekend except Jason.  I was just wondering if this is the norm or one of those days.  Thanks again Karen

  3. I bought this online. So sorry I cannot remember where, but it is out there. Yes the drawer closes completely does not lock in place though.

When cooking I put kitchen scraps in this then transfer to larger trash receptical.  Very handy and out of the way.  I fold it up and put it away until next meal

  4. Sherry, when you installed the EZ Gutter was the red backing on the tape solidly attached to the sticky tape?  I ask because my resent installed gutters are lifting and I was wondering if the product was old.
I followed all the directions and need some advice.
    Thanks, karen

Has anyone found a source for the little suction cups and clips?  One of ours got pulled out and the clip disappeared.

I ordered the suction cups from Amazon they are called "Outus" clear plastic suction cups -22mm.  I also found the hairpin clip but will need to research again.

  6. So we have used our awning maybe 5 times since we purchased 441 less than a year ago. We were camping locally this weekend when my husband said the awning is sloping left.  We got home and opened the awning and it really slopes and doesn’t close completely on the left.  We have used this sweet camper only 4 times due to a hectic 2019. Take a look at this video and tell us what you think? Oh we never noticed a sloping before.

  7. I have found my solution for the awkward plastic shower curtain supplied by Oliver when you purchase the full curtain track.
I purchased a new fabric curtain, very thin and light weight.  Then this is what I did:

    1.  Layer the new curtain flat on the floor with the plastic Oliver curtain on top.

    2.  Then I made allowance for finishing the edges. It must be doubled to hold the grommet. (See last photo) and cut the new curtain using the plastic curtain as my pattern plus finished edge allowance.

    3.  I used the existing little suction cups from the plastic curtain and attached them in the same position on the new curtain.

    4.  Next I placed the position of the grommets and attached them.  (You can purchase a kit on line/practice first)

    5.  The only thing to do was check the length and shorten if necessary then hang.

They are not quite perfect  but they look better when not in use, they do the job and dry very quickly.

  8. The plastic white cover is fine,  I was referring to the covers that cover the whole AC unit.  They run about $25.00 but I need the model to order the correct size 2019 Elite II.

The white cover is aligned and the acres into the holes they just don’t tighten keep spinning?‍♀️

  9. So our summer has been jammed paced with responsibilities and not enough camping.  I went out this afternoon to spruce up for a couple that is interested in buying an Oliver.

Turned on the AC horrible noise and vibration.  Looked on top and the unit was wild.

Long story short, mud daubers infested the unit. Unscrewed the white cover removed nests. Unit runs properly.

    2 issues:

    1.  Screws will not tighten when putting the white top back

    2. Need to know what the model is to order a cover to prevent mud daubers from getting side the unit.

    Thanks in advance,

  10. FYI: there is an online company AB Lifestyles that makes the twin fitted and flat sheet to fit the Elite II twin beds.  The sheets are curved and fit wonderfully and are absolutely soft, soft, soft.  The top sheet has elastic at the bottom as well so it doesn't pull out making the bed oh so much easier to make.  I love them my husband's only negative comment was hit feet felt trapped...LOL

  11. Hi Ken & Karren.  It was checked out at the factory so everything is good to go. Our issue with the water heater was dewinterizing it, cleaning the antifreeze out then fill the water tank.  Write it down step by step...we left out a step thus no water was going to the hot water heater.  And I do remember being told.

Behind the Truma ( you access from the twin bed curb side) is a brass valve.  This will need to be opened to allow water to flow into the Truma. We just waited until we got home and dewinterized first.  I think you will need to dewinterize first.  Works like a charm now!

We were slow learners it took us all day?‍♀️Let us know how it goes!

  12. Well George and I are new Oliver owners.  We picked up out Oliver on March 11 and we are #441.  We have a 2019 Elite II.  We picked her up and headed to Texas where we call the "Hill Country" home.  This is such a well put together TT.  In fact a neighbor looked at the wiring under one of the seats and said, "beautiful".  And you know he was right!  Everything seems to be going fine but I have yet to get the hot water tank working. We upgraded to the Trauma and I just cannot figure it out.  Water just does not seem to flow into the water tank.  I have it set on the normal diagram and the propane is on but no luck.  I have read and reread the manual.  I will probably call Jason in the morning and run through it with him.  But "Olli 441" is beautiful and we cannot wait to get her all organized and on the road.

I have to confess I have been a bit of a "lurker" and have learned so much from this forum so now we are jumping in with 4 feet...
