  1. I saw a “trailer” at the last park (last night’s Ninth Circle) that had a huge air duct vent snaking out from under a DIY box thing and blue tarps and all manner of improvisational accoutrements. I sat there trying to justify spending $61K. Yes I did.
  2. Yeah I have several. Used to ride motorcycles. I am a woman of many talents but disassembling cabinetry is not among them, nor does it interest me. $61k. I’ll get the vehicle inspector — appt tomorrow for truck and trailer — to do all this.
  3. Imma get Wally World to check the lugs anyway. Someone said they will just do it. I’ll buy a potted plant to get them to help if I have to. Use it to prop up my fallen window.
  4. Unplob de block corb. Ha. Riiiiight. Get me to level 7 “take supporb” and we’ll talk.
  5. No way can I get even my arm back there hardly. Apropos of nothing, back in the day I was a serious volleyball (indoor) player, coached by a two-time Olympic player. Decent player, in other words, into my 40s. Starting outside RH hitter. Played on men’s height nets in leagues. With the guys. My arm is long and I spiked so hard people hit the dirt. (Sorry not sorry.) Point being, I am neither a delicate flower nor a spazz, I just can’t EVER get back into the freakin’ hull to check a &$$!-@/! plug.
  6. I used to build computers. “Baling wire and chewing gum.” You either get that joke or you don’t. Also, tech support level 1: “Did you try rebooting?” Grr.
  7. I will take it to WalMart and have them check the lugs - 120! they were adamant about checking at 50 miles and then every 200! - and let them take some air out of the tires, I guess.
  8. The irony does not escape me, in that they put a breakaway too-short cable on a chain but damn those tires are gonna be set at 80. Safety, right?
  9. What should it be then? And is this going to be a regular thing with stuff breaking and falling off and breakaway not long enough etc etc? I am thinking if this is the case this is not for me. I don’t mind some routine maintenance, like a car, but I don’t have the time, or knowledge, or patience for becoming a repair tech (not for free anyway, and esp not when I bought something expensive and brand new. AND, I have not even tried the sewer and water and tank stuff yet. Hoping they all work. Cannot take anymore right now. Analogy. You pay a doctor $100k to give you a new heart or whatever. Then over the phone — lots of vm and different doctors call you back, within a week, and you with no medical training, but they’ve got you unscrewing “valves” and nice former patients are telling you (well-meaning intent, of course) they had to do some “work” on their heart too and that’s just how it is. My truck has had zero issues. I will take in in here for its first scheduled maintenance. FWIW, that is how I see this at this point.
  10. Yep cannot deal with any more breaking falling etc. Not now. Tried lining up and got tired after 20 min of FAIL.
  11. Asked at deliv day, told 80 was it. Period.
  12. Thanks for confirming what I will now call a “known issue.” Btw my entire window covering over the dinette fell off too and no way to get it back on. I tried.
  13. Exactly as I thought. OTT said it is impossible to reach. Elite 1 is TINY and I am almost 6’ (normal wt) so no way. Thanks for the confirmation.
  14. Does it look like this big black thing just behind the blue thing?
  15. Posted in wrong area. Sorry. Delete it all. Thanks.
  16. I just arrived and must run fridge on propane. I have business here. A two day drive from Hohenwald. The thought of driving all the way back (not to mention gas, wear and tear, my time, and with a dog) is not appealing.
  17. Not only is fridge still not working at new campsite but and entire window (shades and frame) fell off.
  18. Will def try what you suggest tomorrow, thank you. Wondering why service dept. did not ask this or mention this possible solution during repeated contacts today. Yes drove with it on “auto” as was told to do. Sigh. Small heater, clipon fan, iphone charger, cabin lights, all working. On battery? Connected to shore power. Reset breakers (main and fridge in cabin), flipped shore power pedestal off and on as directed, tech also had me hunt for a button under dining table and there were two and I asked which one and lost call. Repeated calls back getting voicemails and left messages. Service’s last call after I had unscrewed plywood in hull and removed two galley drawers said to call tomorrow when I get to next campsite (5 hr + drive all interstate). Since I have to leave early, should I just turn fridge OFF for the 5 hour drive? Or? Also, friend said I should buy a surge protector (Elite 1 has one built in, yes? But another is better?) Thank you! Going to sleep now but will check here at oh-dark-thirty for any clues.
  19. Tried everything. On battery. Got cabinets back together and screwed plywood back together. Was told to call tomorrow at next campsite. And wondering why I am having to call them. Shouldn’t they be calling me? Followup? Making it right? Just a thought. Good night all. Thanks. It’s not you.
  20. Tried that. N3000 series. I think it says. I should not be having to remove cabinetry, unscrew tiny impossible-to-reach plywood panels hidden in hull, buy and install proper breakaway cables, etc. on a brand-new $61K trailer. Sorry. Ban me from forum. I am “highly irked.” To put it mildly. Hope they read this.
  21. Got me. It says 10. OTT had me removing galley drawers and unscrewing a very hard to reach plywood panel. “Maybe the cord came loose.” On flat interstate all day? Cannot even get to “cord” but felt around and nothing dangling. This is not good.
  22. OTT returned call - eventually. Not a clue. Told me to call again at next campground. Grr.
  23. Out of data - anyone know how to clear “10” flashing error on fridge? Happened first day and tech said flip fridge breaker. Not wkg. Thanks. Just parked at new site. Fridge stuff will go bad.
  24. I am getting OTT to come HERE Mon. I will leave Tues AM.
