  1. Was following the video to winterize my Elite II. Followed all the steps, drained water tanks, turned off the gas, turned off water heater, adjusted by-pass valve, set the ball valves for winterization mode, cleared water out of faucets, everything up to attaching the hose to the inlet to pull in the antifreeze. I turned on the water pump and turned on the cold water in the kitchen sink. The hose pulled some of the antifreeze out of the container then no more movement. Some water was spurting out of the faucet but that was it. I finally turned off the pump because I didn't want to ruin it. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I am sure it was something I overlooked. How should the ball valve be oriented on the fresh water tank? Does it have anything to do with winterizing? Should there be a water source? I feel dumb for asking, it seemed pretty simple on the video. Any help is appreciated. Last thing, after winterizing I was planning on leaving the camper plugged. Should I turn off the inverter. I am planning on leaving the batteries (lithium) in the compartment in the camper and not doing anything with them. I live in North Alabama, temps dip to 19 or 20 degrees some nights. My camper is stored in a garage. Just adding that info in case it is helpful. Thanks for any assistance--Happy New Year!
  2. Hello,

I know this is posted somewhere but can you remind me how to post the US Map as part of the signature. I saw the post some time ago and can't find it again.  😀

    Thank you,

    Lori

  3. Thanks to everyone. I really appreciate you all taking the time to help me! I have pushed the power button on the wall unit in the cabin and the power button on the inverter itself. I am going to plug something into the inverter itself to check that. Although I don’t have high hopes for that as there has been nothing on the display screen on the inverter. I will also check the voltage when I get back to my campsite. I hope you all are having a nice weekend!
  4. Inverter still not working. I have pushed the power button on the inverter, flipped the breaker, reset the GCFI plug, and the lithium batteries are charged to over 80%. I will look for the inline breaker as well. Also what should the battery voltage threshold be? Thank you for all the feedback!! Had the camper less than two months. I guess I will call service department tomorrow.
  5. Hello. I have been researching the forum and I am sorry to ask a probably not so smart question and one that’s been answered but I have no power to my outlets. I have the inverter and solar package and I am not plugged into shore power. I have no Internet at my site so I was hoping to get a quick answer for troubleshooting so that I can fix it when I get back to the campsite. This is our first time boondocking so I am sure I am missing a simple step that was already explained in the delivery walk-through, but….Any answers or links to previous posts or info would be appreciated.
  6. Thanks so much for the reply. I appreciate the assistance and the link regarding the longer hoses. Take care!
  7. Hello. We just took delivery of our Elite II and are experiencing the same short cycling issue. Sometimes with as little as 2 minutes between cycles. I was wondering if you were able to resolve the issue and how? Thanks!!
  8. Hello, I have seen some threads on this general topic but am still a bit confused-sorry if I missed a topic that addresses this. I wondered if anyone uses the camp chef explorer 2x stove and if the propane hose pictured below works with it and the QC system for propane. Even if you don't use it but can provide any feedback that would be great. Getting my Oliver on Friday (VERY EXCITED!!) and want to have all the right equipment. I get the hose pictured on Thursday. I know--nothing like waiting until the last minute--not sure why I thought getting this would be simple. 🙂 Thanks for your time!
  9. Hello, I have a the two burner Explorer from Camp Chef. I bought the propane hose that you have pictured. Do you have to modify the flare fitting on the end to fit the camp chef? When looking at the grill, it seems like the hose with the regulator is permanently attached. Did you have an issue getting that hose off and attaching the hose that will connect to the quick connects on the camper? Getting my Oliver on Friday and I am trying to have everything ready to go. 🙂 Thanks!
  10. AndrewK and SeaDawg--thank you for the pictures. I think black will work the best with my truck color. JRK--I would appreciate hearing what you think about the Lithium Pro vs. Solar Pro packages. I think I will do one of these instead of piecing together options. Your comment about the AGM batteries definitely makes sense. Thank you!
  11. Back at home from our second visit to Hohenwald. Lucky for us it is only a two and a half hour drive and Phillip with Oliver is very patient 😀. I have a Tacoma so decided on the Elite during the first visit. (owned a Casita in the past so size is similar) About 2 months later, I have traded the Tacoma in for a Tundra so back to Oliver to change our order to the Elite II. (love the twin bed floor plan, more storage, etc.) So--one minor question first--any all black exterior graphics out there? My truck color is calvary blue, which is not a great match with any of their blue colors, so leaning towards the black and trying to decide on solid graphics versus the pin stripes. Second question is about solar power. Never really considered it until we looked at all the boondocking posts and the beautiful pictures so many of you have shared. Trying to decide whether to (1) get one of the solar packages (lithium pro or solar pro) or (2) to spend $1650 to get the 12V wet cell batteries, 2000W inverter and then get the solar port installed after production by the service department so that we can use a portable zamp solar panel (140 Watt). I have searched through the posts to find comments about this. Lots of the discussions are over my head so if anyone has the time to share your experiences and expertise I would really appreciate it. By the way, saw quite a few beautiful Elite II's today waiting for their final inspections and future owners. Excited for you guys! Happy Holidays everyone! Thanks, Lori
  12. Thank you everyone! Lots to think about. I appreciate you all taking the time to respond.
  13. I read that a few of you got the outside LP quick connects, still trying to make a decision about this upgrade. Do you find that you use them enough to justify the upgrade? Thank you, Lori
