  1. For those of you looking for a cheap way to increase your usable counter space the following will cost about $10.00. Sam's Club is selling a half inch thick 15 X 20 cutting board for $9.00 . The width was perfect for my sink so I cut it to length and notched it for the faucet. I used a table saw and jig saw to make the cuts but you could use hand tools. I then used pieces of the cut off mounted with stainless screws on both sides and the bottom to help hold it in place. Total time of the project was less than an hour.
