CRM
I've been searching for an under chassis storage solution in Google image search and came up on this webpage. Does anyone know the source for these boxes? Probably custom made, but I would love to know by who... I think one mounted in front of the front axle on each side would be perfect. I'm guessing @ScubaRx knows the story behind these... jd1923
Pretty cool, but where we Boondock at times we need ground clearance which is pretty good on the Oliver. Keep this in mind, especially if considering a drawer behind the rear axle. Edited August 27 by jd1923 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins! Yeah, definitely not considering one behind the rear axle, though I think I could get away with one in front of the front axle where it would be close to the same level as the bottom of the axle itself. It's pretty obvious this LE was raised a little higher than factory and probably doesn't have the same clearance issues a rear mounted box could have on ours. . 2 2010 Elite II, Hull #45. 2014 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 4WD 5.7 with tow package. The trailer went to two partners Andrew and Lisa in Lake Havasu City, AZ where Jim and Evon Oliver have a home. The drawers were not original to the trailer at the time of delivery. Jim had a 2008 trailer built for himself, Hull #030 and had his son Daniel design and build some under belly drawers for extra cargo. It appears that these are copies Oliver built for this trailer. After Jim had Hull # 046 "The Beast" built (originally designated a 22 footer, but now identifies as an Elite II 23-1/2 footer) he had larger under belly drawers added to it. My old records show that this was the only trailer built and labeled as a 2010 model, but I believe I remember @CRM stating his was sold as a 2010 model. All this was happening either during or after Oliver officially stopped trailer production in 2009, so this information was gathered during hectic times and is unclear and subject to error. As far as I know these were the only examples of trailers with the exterior drawers. If anyone knows of others let me know, I'll add this to my master list of Oliver Ephemera. Steph and Dud B
Darth Vader's RV. Although interesting to look at, I would never own a black RV. They're just not practical on hot, sunny days. 2 Stephanie and Dudley from CT. 2022 LE2, Hull #1150: Eggcelsior. Tow vehicle: 2016 GMC Sierra 6.0 gas dually 4x4. Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted August 29 Moderator+ Share Posted August 29 That black trailer (Hull #011) was during their learning stage and were toying with the idea of painting the trailers different colors. It sits abandoned in Nevada from what I've heard. The Red one (Hull #10) 'Jellybean' is owned by Winston and Brandi Shaffer and is still on the road. They are at least the third owners. Here they both are in early 2008 bound for an RV show in Las Vegas. 3 Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4

Moderators topgun2 Posted August 29 Moderators Share Posted August 29 Winston and Brandi did a fabulous job of restoring Jelly Bean. If you ever see it don't be afraid to ask for a tour. Jim Oliver's Beast presently sits in the Oliver Service area. However, Scott Oliver has plans to move it to his home in the near future. Hopefully I can get some additional pics of it this afternoon.
