Where Did You Get Your Custom Graphics?

I saw some great custom nose art, and graphics on spare tire covers at the recent Oliver rally.  I'm wondering if you got them through Oliver or purchased locally?  We live in Santa Fe and may want to put something to identify our Elite II that reflects the area where we live.  We take delivery in about a month and have requested the factory nose and tire cover logos be left off the trailer and put in cabin should we decide to install them later.

We had our star logo designed by a local artist/graphic designer here in Boerne, TX.  She gave us a digital file and we had it and our custom lettering printed at a print shop in San Antonio.  I put everything on the trailer myself.  Mike

The custom nose art helps identity you when parked or closing at over 100 mph on the Interstate. It was real easy to put on. We did it at a campsite. The hardest part we had was deciding how big or wide we wanted it.

We had 'Banana Banners' out of Bowdoinham, Maine make ours. Robin sized it, moved the graphics, packed it, gave us direction, and even the squeegee. She said she would ship.

It was actually a lot easier to put the big nose piece on than it was the hull #. We had the hull # left off (and put inside) because we were not sure where we wanted it, and we were given a small copy of the nose art. It seems the new vinyl that she uses has small micro groves that let the air out. Especially important when putting on a curved hull. We had not a hint of bubbles on hers, but might still have a few small ones in the hull #. I am sure there are others out their that do it but we are extremely happy with her expertise and service.

I didn't want big graphics and left off all the side stuff. I did put on the personal name in two locations, back right below the beltline and beside the door. Anita graciously had their supplier make up three, for no cost, since I had declined the side swooshes and trailer names, and there is no credit for that ;(

It wouldn't hurt to ask your sales rep if they would give you a custom graphic at little or no cost, if you send the digital file. It can be a simple jpg.

There are a zillion online sign, stucker and boat name websites that you can order from, or use their design software to make a sign. Google "boat graphics".

Applying graphics is not difficult.  As you can see in John's photo's above all you really have to do is to ensure it's straight and then slowly apply.  I did my nose graphic at Land Between the Lakes:

Other ideas:  hull number.

This actually causes some confusion.  Folks see "Lone Star Oliver" and think it is made in Texas.  We have to explain it's made in Tennessee and then a conversation develops.  I guess it is a good conversation starter....

You can always tell folks who you are and where you're from:

There are lots of great ideas out there.  I like seeing all the unique Olivers.  Mike

We found the picture we liked for the tire cover.  Auto Arts in Raleigh NC  had an artist on site to air brush a duplicate of the picture to the cover, and then they applied several coats of clear coat.  Great job auto arts ! lhcjsz252pa2oumxdggotihabmqqhygt.jpg.9af65683689b133c52833b39ba9962da.jpg

We had a local graphic artist do the design. We told her what we were thinking and she did a few designs. We refined one of them to what we have now. She provided a digital file and a local print shop printed the big graphic for the front and some smaller ones for whatever. Mike
