Dogs at pick up

Free2Roam

Recommended Posts

We had ours in the truck. We parked out back, and went out of every once and a while to check, water, and walk. He stayed in motel rooms with us on the way down.

What time of year did you pick up? Thinking about the heat this time of year

Riffles stayed with us throughout the day, it wasn't an issue and they made sure that he felt at home also. It was a full day either way and as long as your dog is trained to stay with you on or off leash, all is good :)

That's good to know. She is good on a leash.

Scott told Tali that Oliver has contracted with a local vet to keep your dogs free of charge while you are at the factory.

Edited to explain that the below info was for factory tour, not pickup.

Pets wouldn't do well inside the factory so I'm glad there are other options. Also, wear some closed toe shoes. When we were there a few weeks ago, a couple had to reschedule because they just had sandals with them. If you don't have glasses, they will loan you a pair of safety glasses.

We picked up the third week of April. It was hot in Tenn. to us and to us muggy. But then again snow was a real recent memory too.

Free2Roam,

Yes, you may bring your dogs for pick up! However, we do have a policy that states they may not be in the sales office or inside the plant. We have a veterinarian less than a mile down the road that will board them for the day with no charge to you. Just as we are excited to meet you, we are equally excited to meet your fur babies. So, please bring them along.

Thanks, Phillip! We will get in contact with Anita or one of the other girls prior to coming out to get the info for the vet. This is a fantastic service!

When we come for warranty work and since we full time in our Ollie, our 11 and half year old Shihtzu travels with us at all times. He has some medical issues and we will not board him as it is not good for him. When we picked up our Ollie back in December, our dog was more than welcome to be with us in the sales area, in fact most rv places we have been to in the many years have always had a place for owners with pets.

One note on boarding the dogs at the vet just down the road... they do require they have their shots ahead of time (including Kennel Cough).

You can see their contact info here: http://greenviewvet.com/locations/main-location/

You can see their requirements here: http://greenviewvet.com/boarding-service

I believe they require proof of shots. Most of the time you can call your vet and they will send that info to Greenview as needed.

If you are planning on boarding a pet, please call Greenview in advance.

Thanks, Matt! The links are helpful. All I had was the phone number.

After talking with Anita this afternoon I called and got a reservation. When I spoke with Kristi at Greenview she asked that we bring a copy of the shot records and we were good to go!

If anyone else is going to need this amazing service in the next couple of weeks, You should prob go ahead and call. Anita mentioned that there is an OctoberFest celebration coming up and it can fill up.

So excited! T minus 11 days!
