Susan, I asked for “Mouse” to be delivered with no side graphics. I wanted the descriptive labels, just no swooshes. The trailer was delivered completely naked on the sides, so I ordered two sets of the “Oliver Legacy Elite II” stickers straight from the Service Department, no worries, and installed them myself in a straight line. It is not at all hard, but it does take some prep, patience and care. If you don’t have all three of those, get somebody else to install them.

I put “Oliver“ at the back on each side, mirror imaged side to side, see pics. I prefer this to the factory positioning. They are visually centered under the rear windows, and the bottom edges align with each other about 6 inches below the belt seam.

I suspect that they will be reluctant to install them in a non-standard way, but maybe they could be persuaded to just leave them off, and put them in a galley drawer for you to install later....?

Our delivery date is November 7 and I didn't want the side graphics.  I was told that they're not doing that now.  That's OK with me.  Ours will have no side graphics.

We’ve been using our Q1000 for over 6 years now.  You can replace the grill on one side with a griddle which provides a solid surface if you want to do meat on one side and a vegetable or something that needs that solid surface on the other side.  It’s also good for bacon and fried eggs.  Mike

Mike,

Great point, we use the half griddle as well. The full griddle is a no go as it reduces the heat in our experience. Bacon is usually micro waved and omelets are done in a nice skillet stove top! 😊 Breakfast is always hardy!

I don't see them either.  I see just a bunch of garbled text.  I'm on my home laptop with a pretty stable WiFi connection.  I've tried both Chrome and Firefox for browsers.  Will try another browser perhaps.

I did see Seadawg's copied image of TopGun's Oliver in a wide open area.

I'd also like to see the pics!

I still don’t see them either. I see Seadawg’s copied image as well. Thanks for posting connor77 and Kirk Petersen as my wifi strength here at the CG is pretty strong right now. Interesting.

The problem just might be my trying a "new" way to upload pics directly from Google.

I'll work on it a bit later to see if I can resolve the issue.

Bill

p.s.  Apparently if you try to "drag" photos into the Forum directly from Google (Android) photos they will only be able to be seen by other Android devices.  If the photos are imported into a computer first and then "dragged" or uploaded into the Forum everyone can see them regardless of using Android or Apple devices.

A 15 inch cut-throat trout caught on the Wind River just west of Dubois, WY.

Sure is a challenge trying to catch and land a fish while holding the camera and videoing at the same time.

Just had a little unplanned fiberglass rally in CT. The Sunday campers rolled in and there's now a Escape 21 in our row to our left and a Northern Lite truck camper to our right. The Escape owners said they passed an Ollie heading north while they were headed here.

  • 2 weeks later...

A few year back we were camping at Flat Head Lake, MT KOA and there was an Oliver right across from us. Did not have a chance to talk to the owners but they seemed to be very nice.  Two ladies camping together.

Here is our 30’ Airstream and you can see the Ollie off to the right.
