Oliver only charges $100 over retail for the installation. If you're using AGM, the AC won't pull from your batteries. You'd be running off shore or generator power. The Easy Start allows the AC to start when using generator power. Generator power, settings (eco mode), propane mods, elevation changes, and ambient temp can all impact the successful startup of the AC when using a generator.
