Galway Girl 269
We are one of the registered Oliver owners who show our trailer to those thinking of buying an Oliver. We created new "trading cards" to hand out as appropriate to visitors and for friends we meet on the road. In this instance we've also included a QR code, which when scanned with a smart phone or tablet will show the link to our blog page where we review various campgrounds, and list some of the many accessories Oliver owners find useful. Please give it a try and see if scanning the QR code takes you to our website: https://4-ever-hitched.com Craig Edited February 13 by ctshort09 removed details phone info 2 1 2019 Elite II (Hull 505 - Galway Girl - August 7, 2019 Delivery) Tow Vehicle: 2021 F350 King Ranch, FX4, MaxTow Package, 10 Speed, 3.55 Rear Axle BLOG: https://4-ever-hitched.com
John E Davies 1,399
That is so cool! Thanks for posting. It worked fine with my iPhone camera. A window opened with the link, touch the link and it opened your page in Safari. I do suggest that you blur out all your personal contact info in the picture above. It isn’t wise to post it publicly, even in an image. My wife got me a box of business cards with a color picture of “Mouse” and my contact info, to hand out when encountering curious folks. I no longer have a website or blog, so I don't need your very cool bar code. I stopped officially showing the trailer, for personal liability reasons, I but still let curious people inside for a look and then walk them around the outside for a while, followed with a referral card. Trainman 182
I think the cards should show your trailer and any markings that distinguish it apart from others, plus I like the cards with the owners in the pic, just helps me remember who they are and if I would want to associate with them again. or you know what I mean. trainman Elite II, Twin Bed, Hull #489, 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears. Galway Girl 269
Trainman, Thanks for the feedback. When I started, I was thinking of examples from older QSL- ham call sign contact cards. They often show ham's gear, sometimes the antenna farm and in other cases a pix of the operator and the call sign. This is my first attempt at a card aimed at establishing a more email / web contact. I kept personal pictures off the card and focused on our contact info and "web page" access up front. In the web pages, you'll find we are in some of the camping photos in the website, so if the person goes to look at the blog pages, that will help them remember...and they'll see all kinds of extra detail about the trailer as well.
