I have never heard of a discounted price.

Except when the years' end demonstrators are sold.

Airsteam has a nationwide dealer network, and distributes trailers to them at a discount so they can decide on the street price for their locale, and survive financially. Oliver has no dealers, no wholesale pricing, no mass production, and no inclination or need to discount a trailer that has a year backlog in orders. Why would they even consider it? It would not make any financial sense. If times go bad, they will continue to produce bathtubs and mobile home accessories, and they will survive until the bad times pass, as they did in 2008. Airstream is owned by Thor, and they do nothing but RVs. They would not have any kind of financial cushion if the economy goes bust and folks quit buying them.

You are getting a discount on your Ollie. If Oliver was a dealer based Company like airstream  you probably would be paying airstream  pricing for the Ollie.  The advantages of direct factory buying no middle man price increase.

I do not disagree with anything said above.  However, there is an old saying that goes something like this: "always give the man a chance to say no".  In other words, you will never know if you could or could not have received a better price unless you ask.

Almost a years backlog, Few if any pre owned on the market. Supply -demand and Oliver reputation - I'm surprised we don't see a temporary premium.

As a portable house - put a few them on a lot - let the bidding start at noon - but don't tell too many - don't want a riot.   Bids above the ask would be expected.

Ok - news flash - Oliver is taking bids on moving prepaid customers to the front of the line - what's that worth to you. 🤑

Discounts, so when you build the best number one product, why would you discount when you have to wait 6 months just to get one. Try buying a new Corvette, does two years wait time sound good to you and $30,000 over list price. Everything sells at market value at the time, so far Oliver's has been in business for 10 plus years and still going strong with no discount,  maybe next year they will offer discounts, why not wait and see.
