BackofBeyond
I know several out there use the smaller portable grills - usually on the Ollie propane system. As I have found Oliver Owners to be a crowd that keeps their stuff neat, tidy, and clean - I though I'd post this - my particular thing is keeping the Webber clean. I am sure many do this - but I line the interior with aluminum foil . About once a year - I replace it. We cook with the grill almost every day we are out in the Oliver, usually some kind of marinade on the meat - leaving a mess - the liner Makes clean up very easy. Moderators Mike and Carol Posted May 5, 2021 Moderators Share Posted May 5, 2021 Just used our Q1000 tonight. Between lining with foil and the foil drip pans, it isn’t difficult to keep the Weber clean. I do a thorough cleaning when we get home. Our grill is as good as new after five years of heavy use. Landrover
I never had good luck lining the Weber with foil. The grease alway found away around it. It did help somewhat with the marinades and some of the meat that would fall though the grate. I do the same as Mike and Carol wait till I get back home. Easy to take apart, use some dawn dish soap, a new drip pan good to go. Same 5 + years of use I did recently replace the grate it was getting a little worn. 2 Grant 2022 GMC Denali 2500 HD 2019 Elite 11😎
Fargoman
We want to get a Q-series Weber for our September 2021 delivery date LE2, which will come with propane quick disconnects. From the research I've done, the regulator on the Weber would have to be removed, and a quick disconnect fitting installed, which seem easy enough. For anyone who has done this mod, does the grill still work properly? 1 2021 Legacy Elite 2 Twin Bed | Hull Number 894 (9/16/21 delivery) | Ram 1500 Longhorn 4x4 3.0L EcoDiesel 3.92 axle
Patriot
We used our Q120O on our most recent 17 day trip to Gulf Shores…it’s a great little grill and I find cleans up easily with foil laid in it. It has served us very well. 1 2020 OLEII - Hull #634 aka- “XPLOR” 2021 F350 6.7 liter Diesel Lariat Ultimate Tremor North Carolina 🇺🇸

I use a half griddle for sour dough blueberry pancakes. I have read that a full griddle will not heat up properly. 1 2020 OLEII - Hull #634 aka- “XPLOR” 2021 F350 6.7 liter Diesel Lariat Ultimate Tremor North Carolina 🇺🇸

Fargoman - the modification to remove the installed regulator and replace with a quick disconnect is simple to do and well worth the time and effort. The grill works just fine - heats up as designed. I would rate the use of the Oliver quick disconnect and the modified Webber as one of the my most used accessories. Wind will have an effect on the grills ability to heat up - so placement is something to think about. Good luck Happy trails RB 2 Cindy, Russell and "Harley dog" . Michael Berlin
Without having to do a modification, you can buy the Weber on the Airstream web site and it fits the Oliver with no modification and has all the right hoses. Might cost a few dollars more.We have had for over 2 years and works like a charm. Suggestion was made by Weber.

Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted January 20, 2022 Moderator+ Share Posted January 20, 2022 On the surface, this looks like a good deal. It's only $30 more than on Amazon and you don't have to buy all the fittings and assemble it yourself. However, this is the warranty you get with the Airstream model: "Airstream is selling the Weber Q1200 Gas Grill AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS. THERE IS NO EXPRESS WARRANTY COVERING THE GRILL; AND, AIRSTREAM DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Airstream also excludes all consequential damages. If you decide to purchase the grill you agree that Ohio law applies regardless of conflicts of law. You also agree that any legal action against must be commenced in state or federal courts sitting in Ohio." 1 1 1 Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4

I clean it after every trip, still works like new. Maybe I’ll break it in another 6 years. The Airstream model comes without the regulator and an Airstream logo, it’s almost as easy to get the fittings (Propane Guys) and do it yourself while saving a few bucks. Mark and Lorraine
We’ve had one for at least 15 years. Traveled well with us with no issues, it’s built well. Think it’s model 2000. Haven’t used it in a few years and we’re waiting for our build in May. It was stored clean and had to clean a few mouse remnants after getting it out of storage in my pole barn. Cleaned out the mouse and ignited on the second strike. I use a dental pick to keep all the holes in the burner clean and water soluble degreaser annually. Converting to a quick connect is easy. I was thinking the smaller one would probably be better suited for just the 2 of us moving forward. 2 Mark & Lorraine Chelsea, MI 2022 Ram 2500 Leave it better than you found it.
