Leveling Your Ollie

Coach and JoJo

The old 2x10 x16” long pressure treated each end cut on a 45dg angle. I never had to go any higher than the 1 1/2 thickness of each block.  Although these days you may be able to buy the Anderson levelers for half the price of wood. 😳

We use the big square black and yellow Camco legos.  I have two sets of 10.  I use them under the jacks with wood blocks so that I only move the jacks a few inches and under the tires if we’re not level.  Mike

Anderson Leveling chocks.  Used them at a couple of camp sites.  Mostly at home,  When Oli isn't in her covered shelter, Then she next to the garage and that slopes down but 3-3.5 inches from one side of the axle to the other.  Really simple to get it really close as long as my beloved wife is telling me when to stop.  Takes little team work, but it is quick and easy.

We've used Lynx Leveler blocks for all our RVs. I like them because you can use them for other things, too, if needed (sewer hose ramp, picnic table legs, etc.).

You guys need to think outside of the box.  Take a few lessons from the ATV hauling thread, add a bucket, and now you're leveling the site, not the trailer.

Yeah, but sometimes you've got to bring in the big dogs. And most parks frown on that...

Anderson levelers for side-to-side.  We've used them for years.  We call them "marriage savers".  LOL

And on the Ollie we added a LevelMate Pro.  I hemmed and hawed about it, but the first time I set up on my own?  Zero regrets!

Narrow minded people!   Maybe there are parks that are more open to a few big dogs helping out.

I like the Andersen’s.  They are more expensive but I am mainly a solo traveler and find them easy to use on my own.  I bought levelmate pro as part of pre trailer pickup supplies and have yet to install.

We use the Andersen levels and jack stands. We had used the Andersen levelers for 5 years with our 5th wheel. They are easy to use with out having to add blocks.

My husband loves them for this reason. He normally goes out and sets up while I'm still at work and then I drive out when I get off. He has no problem getting level by himself. On our 5th wheel we had the Level Mate Pro but left it in it when we sold it. So far he said he hasn't really needed it with the Oliver and the Andersen levelers.

I saw the levelmate pro on @Mike D.'s trailer. Pretty sweet gear.

If I were traveling alone, I'd probably get one.

James and Steph at fitRV just posted this video on installing and using a levelmate pro. As usual, good video. Yes, they drive a van camper, but it shouldn't really differ that much.
