Removed my Dometic 3 Way fridge WITHOUT removing the cabin door assembly!

I decided at six years old the burner assembly was probably not safe to reuse, so I just gutted it. The steel mount flange would not come off without the hacksaw.  Does anyone need a spare control board, main PCB unit, gas regulator, jet or sensors? Ignitor? Door, hinges or freezer door?

It really is so VERY damned difficult to remove this fridge for servicing, and I heard that there are no replacement fridges available anyway(!!), that if you have to get to any part that is *** hidden *** from the outside access openings, you might as well just plan on scrapping the unit. As I plan to do.

We gave the only part we knew was absolutely good (eyebrow board,, only a month old) to @ScubaRx.  He paid it forward with his help to someone.

You can feel good about that.

Anybody want the shell? Willing to ship.

It will need to reassembled at your end.

Funny you should say that. I am getting there, here is my fridge compartment, I am working my way inward toward the cabin, adding foam and 1” R5 foam board pretty much everywhere…

A thermally isolated compartment will hopefully greatly reduce compressor cycling and amp hours. The board is relatively cheap and easy to shape with a table saw. The Baltic Birch is $140 for 25 sq ft! Don’t ask me how many hours this has taken so far..
