Roger
When we bought our Oliver, my wife and I had many discussions about how and where to store it at home. We finally decided to have a carport installed in front of my shop. This morning I was walking down to my shop and did a double take when I saw that an oak tree had fallen onto the carport. When I got down there, I saw that although about 10 feet of the carport was crushed it did not crush down to the Oliver. The carport did its job and as soon as I get it repaired, the Oliver will be going back under it. 5 9 1 2021 Elite II Twin Bed Hull #1023 - Kimba | 2015 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 5.0L V8

Moderators topgun2 Posted February 21, 2023 Moderators Share Posted February 21, 2023 Thank goodness your Ollie was under that shelter. It won't be inexpensive repairing the shelter but I'd bet that it will be a bunch LESS expensive repairing it versus repairing the Ollie. Thanks for the pics! Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted February 22, 2023 Moderator+ Share Posted February 22, 2023 We have a building very similar to yours (sans the fallen tree). I’m very happy your trailer came through unscathed. John Dehne
Ouch! Glad no one got injured. Mother Nature sure can cost us some money. I think about trees falling in the state camp grounds, We always look around before unhooking but sometimes there is no evidence of a tree problem. Glad the Oliver made it through it. 1 John & Chris Dehne Manchester, MD. 2021 Elite II twin Hull# 901 “Fiberbeergrass” 2021 Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 Life is good!
