Domestic 310 Commode in Elite II

It doesn't seem like the 310 can efficiently remove solid waste when flushing. Water seems to flow down the sides of the bowl but no swirling action like the literature suggests.  Pump is running full tilt but maybe not generating enough pressure?

Anyway, same for everyone or what.  Another model might work better.  Suggestions?

Sounds like the pressure because that's what really makes a difference. It could use more pressure from the pump but when hooked up to 60lbs it's great. I prefer the less pressure when boondocking. I have a handle that I use to flush while sitting and depending on the water situation, I sometimes flush first while still sitting with the pump off, then turn off the pump, clean and flush after. Try putting 2 to 3 inches of water in the bottom of the bowl first for best results.

Happy Camping,

All RV toilets are basically super low flow.a typical"flush" is ounces, not gallons

For solids, try criss crossing a little toilet paper in the bowl. A few sheets each way.

You can not ever expect a power flush from an RV toilet. Ain't happening. Too much water consumption. Small tanks require small consumption.

A composting toilet handles solids just fine with zero water usage. Open the trap door and down they go....

It is important to remember to open it first.

Just saying..... never mind.
