I removed the small fiberglass extension piece and pushed the wider single mattress to the back wall. This left me room by the stove and the opposite side by the stripper pole. I found the perfect small cabinet at Goodwill, painted it, and put it on the side by the stove. As soon as I can figure out how to post pictures ( my computer doesn't like my disc to upload instructions) I'll try to post some to show what I did. She put a twin size mattress across the back, adding just a small board to support it and eliminating the big board. She installed some drawers next to the sink/stove area. That leaves a little extra seating area next to the divider in her case, or pole in ours, or a "nightstand" for glasses and book. Without the big bed, her camper looks like a dance hall, and she still has the two-person dinette for lounging, and the small table for computer work, or food prep, or whatever. She really likes it. I don't have any pictures, but I suspect yours looks kind of like hers. Great idea! It will be really nice to use the extra storage space next time I get to take Revilo camping. How true the saying is - Necessity is the mother of invention! Your friend Lois also rearranging to make the most of her little gem. I look forward to the day when I get to meet many more of my neighbors just a little further apart.
