  1. So, I have read several threads on towing. Still a little confused. My gift is not math! I know the question is not simple, but let me try to ask it-- If I get a vehicle (perhaps Subaru Accent) with a 5,000 lb towing capacity, and the Elite is 3700 lbs dry weight, how much extra weight (the weight of the two of us, plus accessories etc.) into the vehicle and trailer combined? I read something about an 80% factor of the Gross Weight. I am sure this is not an easy question, and I know it probably depends on several issue, but perhaps as a general rule?🙂 Thanks! Dwain
  2. Thanks for all the comments everyone! Lots to consider. I am confident I can do it, just want to make sure I don't add complexity to my life. We are now all about simplify. If I do get an Ollie, I will be getting the Elite single axle and I would prefer to an SUV, perhaps Toyota Highlander or something similar. Again, thank you for your comments. Dwain
  3. I have never had or towed a TT. I don't want to be stressed on a trip. When large trucks pass, is this scary, or is pulling a TT fairly easy. Thanks! Dwain
  4. When maximum length is given for National Parks, is this number only for TT length or the combination of the two? Thanks! Dwain
  5. Oliver had both models in Brandon, Florida last week, so my wife and I scheduled to see them. Oh, yeah, nice!!!! Now I want one--now its just timing! Question. In planning trips, I saw RV Wizard searching internet. Is this a good way to plan? Any others better? Thanks for info. Future Oliver owner☺️ Dwain
  6. Thank you everyone! Have a blessed Christmas! Dwain
  7. I have been reading threads on this topic and I am a little confused. I thought the Oliver would be fairly easy to maintain, but now I am questioning this assumption. 1. Is a ceramic coating necessary to protect the trailer? 2. If it is done, say 5 years after purchase, will it restore shine? 3. Can simply washing and waxing keep the Oliver looking good. Thanks for info. Dwain
  8. Does the back window open at all in the Legacy Elite, or is it only for emergencies? Dwain
  9. I don't have an RV, but want an Oliver one day. I am confused. I read that the Legacy Elite was going to be redesigned, but now they are still making 2022 model. Does anyone have clarification on this? Thanks! Dwain
