  1. Hi Patriot and all the other helpful people, We get some pretty cold nights (and days) in the East! We like to spend time near the beaches in November. And up in the Mountains. So the ECO will be on at night. I don’t like to run the FRESH water waiting for it to heat for dishes and stuff so I switch it to COMFORT. It’s good to know in the milder weather we can turn it off. We are one year in to the Oliver and the Camping adventure and sad to see the season end. We have not gone off grid yet but are practicing up at the State reservations that only supply electricity. Thanks for the help, advice and good ideas. Catherine
  2. Ohhhh I think you got it Frank. It is from that side over the pump. That makes sense that it’s circulating water. I am switching it from Eco to Comfort mode depending on usage. I bet I left it on Comfort. It’s pretty jarring when you don’t know what it is. Thanks a bunch. The forum has been pretty helpful with stuff. Catherine
  3. Hi Bill, We are taking the Ollie to an authorized RV dealer for its first yearly inspection in a few weeks. I’ll mention it. My husband contacted Oliver and RV dealer about the switch for the malfunctioning stabilizer. Oliver sent us a switch replacement and he installed it. He was not concerned about the weird sound - but could not identify it. We are not getting any error codes. No smells. No alarms. I suspect it might be the AquaGo water heater? It really does sound like the awning retracting. It’s a pretty sophisticated little unit and for the most part it does what we expect it to. Catherine
  4. What is this weird sound? Mostly during the night, I hear a sound that is exactly like - or pretty similar to - the sound of the awning retracting. The awning is already retracted and the main switch near the door is off. 🫣 It is not the fresh water pump which is a loud disquieting rumble. It also has been heard when we are connected to City Water and the Fresh water pump is off. It is not the fan or the air conditioner. It is not the heater. It is not the refrigerator. We set the hot water to Comfort when we are going to use it and back to Eco the rest of the time. And it is definitely not that fan inverter sound that has to do with the batteries. Out of nowhere a sound like the awning retracting. We did have a faulty switch replacement issue that was causing the stabilizer on the porch side to malfunction. But that is fixed. We are now stabilized. We can extend and retract quite nicely. We are New England people - so late in the Fall the heat is on. What is that weirdo noise? Can a retracted shut off awning make a noise? Hope your Holidays are Peaceful, Catherine Hull #1433
