  1. You are correct. I just described it wrong. Turns out after several more attempts the furnace fired up. Most likely air in the line that needed to get purged? Not sure but we seem to be good to go.
  2. Yes, the stove is working perfectly. We thought maybe the gas line may have had an air pocket so I ran the stovetop for 5 minutes to try to make sure everything was primed. No go.
  3. Starting up our heater for the first time. It doesn’t seem to want to kick on. Gas to the stove works fine. The gas shutoff to the furnace is off. I did notice in the manual that 12 VDC needs to be turned on. Not sure where that would be. Any help troubleshooting would be welcome. Also have a call in to service at OTT. Thanks!
  4. Thanks, Ron. I think you have confirmed my thoughts. I appreciate you taking the time. Nice setup by the way. Bob
  5. Thanks so much, @MobileJoy. I will check on the optional front AC input. I don't recall seeing it, but then I didn't look.
  6. Another newbie question from the Campbell's in Nashville. We have a new LE I Platinum with the Lithium Pro Package (Lithium Batteries-260 AH). When it comes to running the AC off the lithium batteries, my understanding that it is/may be possible, but not on an ongoing basis. Is it accurate to say that for a sustainable boondocking solution for AC a separate generator will be required? If so, do most of you go the route of a small, quite inverter generator powered by LP gas? I actually have a Jackery 2000 pro that is used for home backup if needed. It is charged via solar, or 12 volt, or 120AC. And if the Jackery is an option, presumably I need to have a way to power the Truma directly off the generator rather than the on board inverter. There are several questions bundled in there, so if there is a good resource you can point me to I am happy to read. But the search terms I have been plugging in have not been turning up the kind of information I am looking for. Thanks for anything you can point me to!
  7. @rich.dev you are my new best friend. 🙂 We have hot water. I should have mentioned that we have the LE I, so it looks a little different but not much. I had not yet seen the video you linked so that was very helpful. Thanks a bunch, and have a great holiday weekend. Hope to see you at an upcoming rally and thank you in person. Bob (and Barb) Campbell
  8. Dumb question but where is that circular port hole? I am looking at the water heater from under the flip down panel on the outside curbside behind the tire.
  9. I am a new Oliver LE owner, and bringing this topic back to the top because I am having a similar issue with my Truma. However, I don't see the bypass valve that you are referring to. Do you have a picture, or would you like me to send a picture of mine?
