Thanks Rich- after being a bit apprehensive to pull off, it worked. Straightforward and simple once a newby gets good advice! -
Screen Removal
Rich and Jane Walker replied to Rich and Jane Walker's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Here is a picture of the shades. I want to remove the screens to clean them. I see an earlier post which says the shades must be removed before removing the screen but not sure how. Thanks. -
Is there a trick to get the screens past the roller shades once you pop the screen out of the track? There doesn’t seem to be much clearance and I don’t want to permanently deform the screen frame. TIA and greetings from Gulf State Park!

I have installed the regulator and all seems to be OK. Per your suggestions, will also get a water filter to add to the city line in. Thanks again to everyone for your help. Thanks to both for the information. I will go out and get a regulator today. Appreciate the help! Greetings from LeFleur Bluffs State park!

Yes, we are hooked up to city water. We do not have a regulator. It was not leaking at our previous stop. I just googled and it says to keep pressure below 40psi and use a regulator- which I don’t have yet. I toggled back the city water spigot and it seems to have stopped. is it imperative to have a regulator? thanks for your quick help. Needless to say was panicked at first being only out second trip out.

Wow! Small world! I worked in automotive aftermarket sales in Chicago and Germany , at a diesel exhaust plant in Grand Rapids, as country manager for all Bosch products in Philippines and ended in engineering out of Farmington Hills. 28 years of employment at an excellent company. Now time to travel North America! -
Slow shower drain

I checked and it is open. I am wondering if problem is due to not being perfectly level- curbside a bit low. We leave tmw and will dump tanks. Maybe that should help? -
My wife Jane (Hospice nurse) and I (former Bosch employee) retired earlier this year and after a cross country trip to California from home base in Chicago by car, decided we needed to investigate trailers. We had followed Oliver for a year or two, and looked at fiberglass truck bed campers prior to purchasing this Elite2. Very happy with our decision - but making many rookie mistakes as we weren’t camper prior. So far, only correctable mistakes and a few serious close calls! We head to Hohenwald tomorrow for a factory tour. Currently enjoying Green River Lake State Park in Campbellsville, KY ( beautiful park)! hope to meet you all in our coming travels!
