  1. I might be ready to buy a used Oliver Elite II (older than 2022) twin bed by June or July. (Fingers crossed) I've been researching the Oliver for at least two years now. I had to do some other things first. Got my master's degree and started developing an online biology course for high schoolers (I'm a teacher). It's time to find an Oliver. I've owned campers before and love life in the outdoors. It sure would be nice to find one with special features for off-gridding. I will be networking to speak with anyone who wants to sell their Oliver come summer time. I'm not interested in going through a dealership, though.
  2. I know posting Olivers for sale on the website has been removed to ensure dealerships are used in the transaction. I was wondering if there are other forums developed so people can buy directly from owners.
  3. I am not a mechanic or tire specialist. (Hence, I'm coming to you guys.) First, I understand Oliver's tires are different from the usual camper tires. Word on camper websites is that the 80 psi tires have a thin sidewall. Wouldn't it be better to have a 110 rim and 110 psi tire? When I buy mine, I will be going down some bumpy dirt roads and truly off-gridding. Also, what is the tire on the Oliver? I see it has "Premium Aluminum Rims with 10-ply Tires" and is 80 psi. Does the Oliver tire have a thick sidewall and good tread depth? Do they last on the road or have problems with needing frequent replacement? Any thoughts on this?
