tumbleweed Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Neat counter and lighting! On the C(other)asita Forum, a woodworking craftsman replaced all of the doors w/real oak(saved weight!) and hinged a counter just like yours! The hinge was above the frig door and eliminated the (ugh) bump but still gave the counter space when needed. Can't remember if he had the microwave or not. Very nice job.
DCKiefer Posted July 4, 2010 Author Posted July 4, 2010 Eric, Nice job, but the thing that got my attention was the cabinet doors in the microwas spot. We did want a microwave either so the install a kind of bread box contraption with a rollup door. Takes up a lot of potentially useful space. What number is your Oliver, it must have been made after ours. Either way I going to give them a call and see if they happen to have one of those cabinet doors sitting around.
eric Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 It's hull #40, I think it was a 2009 model. The guy I bought it from didn't want the microwave so Oliver put in the doors. I'm sure if you asked them they could tell you where to get them.
