  1. Bill, you are correct! I called back and spoke to another person at the company and they corrected the mistake. They said double pane is definitely the way to go! So.. you are correct.
  2. Hi Fernando, We also had an issue with leaking in the rear window of our Oliver Elite Travel Trailer Hull #7. Nice to meet someone else with one of the oldest models! As someone else mentioned on this forum, the leak came from the Oliver Light Sign ABOVE the back window. We had that taken out and resealed and it fixed the leak. This was after many other attempts to figure out the source of the problem. I hope this works for you. Windows - we recently had someone break into our trailer and in so doing sadly shattered the rear side window. We are trying to find a replacement. I called Jason (at Oliver Travel Trailers) and he said they no longer have the measurements for the original mold. He said they were all made a little differently. Ours were also made by HEHR but that company is no longer and now they use Lippert windows. We are trying to find someone who can order the correct window replacement. Very frustrating. Some have advised us to replace all windows with double pane windows (blocks outside noise better and provides better insulation from cold inside trailer). However, when I called one potential window company, they said double pane windows would be too heavy for our 17 foot trailer...so... I don't know. We have a call out to an Oliver Sales Rep closer to us (Seattle, WA) and hopefully can get more info. Our question is, where to buy a good RV window replacement, how to get proper measurements and whether we should continue with single pane or replace with double pane. Please let us know if you get any answers, and we will do the same for you. Good luck! Catherine (Seattle, WA)
  3. We tow our Oliver Elite with a Touareg TDI. With have a regular hitch. Have never had a problem with sway. The Ollie follows effortlessly.
