About us, and for some reason, it keeps kicking back to "male":  Right now, we are exploring our options with various scenarios.  At a minimum we would be snowbirding on a budget, so at least some options would probably be necessary because of at least some boondocking.  We had a retirement plan that has been derailed as we have an adult son, 33, whom we had planned would move to a residential program (DS, developmental disability) and that has been delayed, very delayed. 

We did view the spec sheet for an inventory model, about $13,000 worth of options/add-ons, so they gave me a good picture of what was available at what cost.  Of course, husband wants many of the items.  I am the "thrifty" half of the couple, and have the final word.

My husband is 6"2" which limits our choices in the fiberglass molded market, and we just don't agree  with some that it wouldn't matter if he had to stoop and squat to avoid hitting his head, so are looking for headroom.

This is HUGE decision for us, so feedback is appreciated.  Not sure when we will make a final choice of a TT, depends on where our issues go with the State and our son.  Older son retires from military in the next couple years with plans to move to TX.  We are currently in Emporia, KS, but plan to be elsewhere ASAP.  We currently own a 2010 Hi Lo travel trailer.

Retirement is hard when plans get derailed, but there is always hope!
