  6. Beautiful 70 degree day in Brighton Pilleys Island trail Viewing point near Triton
  7. View from rear of our trailer at the Crescent Lake RV Park near Robert’s Arm. It’s a very nice private park with the best showers I’ve seen. The Hazelnut Hill hiking trail goes around the Crescent lake approximately 6 miles for the entire loop. It’s very well maintained with lots of signs, benches and viewing spots.
  8. We are using T-Mobile cellular service and sometimes the parks have hotspots, we have the cellular booster which helps when the signal is marginal.
  9. Sir Richards Squires Memorial Provincial Park, the road to the park is long gravel/dirt with a little pavement and lots of pot holes. It is a nice campground once you get here. Good fly fishing location.
  10. Mountain Waters Resort in Portland Creek, good fishing if you have a boat.
  11. Shoreline near Phillips gardens
  12. Near the Point Riche Lighthouse this large Caribou slowly walked past our car
  13. Inside the Port au Choix National Historic Site Visitors Center looking out the window at a Caribou
  14. A foggy day of hiking at Fishing Point Municipal Park gave way to a beautiful sunset
  15. In the village of Norstead a 54 foot replica of a Viking knarr which sailed from Greenland to L’Anse aux Meadows in 1998 with a crew of only nine men, reenacting what the Vikings did during the Viking era (790-1060 AD) The rudder was on the side near the stern of the vessel held on with a couple ropes.
  16. Great picture!
  17. I agree, cracks me up when I see a potholes ahead sign when you spent the last hour avoiding them. We spent today at L’ANSE AUX MEADOWS Here is the view from the Viking village
  18. The water was not as cold as I expected, the mosquitoes are annoying, no bears so far, a couple of moose and lots of icebergs.
  19. The smoke is gone and the sky is clear at Pistolet Bay Provincial Park, it amazes me how blue the skies and waters are here in Newfoundland.
  20. We have been getting smoke from the mainland fires the last couple of days, so it’s limiting the photo opportunities.
  21. Yes, heading up there on Monday
  22. More pic’s from Gros Morne I
  23. Berry Hill campground
  24. The closer to water the more bugs and there is a lot of water here.
