About Me
I had a 1 yr delay before I actually ordered my Ollie. I picked it up February 2019, and immediately headed out west to take care of my dying cousin. No chance to outfit it properly or learn how to back it up, or use this complicated beautiful piece of equipment. As a person who’s never camped in a camper, much less pulled one in mountains, it’s been a real learning curve. Sometimes a terrifying experience that I have questioned more than once. As in “What the heck made you think you could do this alone at your age ?!?!?” (Well...I do have a co-pilot. My cat Sophie has adjusted & now loves the views and critters she gets to watch from our bedroom.) Yet I have persisted and had some of the best experiences of my life. I am proud of the fact I haven’t given up, and I’ve become quite good at pulling this rig. So far the only damaging mistake I’ve made is not realizing the bathroom vent can be opened and closed by hand. I plan to attend the next rally to learn a lot & meet other Ollie’s
