(d) Online Advertising. Some companies that help Oliver deliver interactive online advertising, such as banner ads, may collect and use information about Oliver's customers and the Site's users to help Oliver better understand the types of advertising or promotions that are most appealing to Oliver's customers and the Site's users. Where possible, this information is aggregated, and we ask these companies to limit their use of it to that purpose. If, however, a customer or Site user would prefer that these companies not collect such information, please click "Reject" in our cookie banner, or visit the Cookie Policy page and use the cookie settings described on this page to opt-out.
(e) Prior Disclosure. In the preceding 12 months, Oliver has disclosed the types of personal information listed above to its service providers for business purposes. Oliver does not sell your personal information for money or other valuable consideration. California law may still treat the advertising cookie described in Section 14 and the form-based sharing of contact information described in Section 5(h) as a sell or sharing of personal information, both of which you may opt-out of at any time.
(f) Automated Tools and Artificial Intelligence. We use automated tools, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, as follows. (1) We use a machine-learning model, together with a specialized third-party data provider that acts as our service provider under contract, to enrich and score incoming lead information so we can prioritize follow-up and estimate which audiences are most likely to be interested in our travel trailers. That provider may use the information only to perform this service and does not sell or share it or add it to its own database. This is automated profiling used for prioritization; a person makes the actual decisions, and it does not produce a legal or similarly significant effect about you. (2) We use artificial-intelligence tools to help create advertisements and build advertising audiences; advertising is off until you allow it. (3) We use an artificial-intelligence tool that helps us audit our customer-relationship-management system, acting as our service provider. We may also use automated tools to respond to inquiries, route requests, detect fraud, and improve the Site and our services. A person is involved in any decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you; we do not use artificial intelligence to make those decisions on its own, and we do not sell your information to artificial-intelligence developers or use it to train models for third parties.
4. CCPA Financial Incentive Notice
Oliver may offer you discounts, promotions, programs, benefits, and other deals reasonably related to the value of the Personal Information collected, retained, or sold by Oliver, which may be deemed a "financial incentive" or "price or service difference" under the CCPA. These deals may involve collecting Personal Information from customers who participate, including without limitation: identifiers, customer records, protected class and demographic information, commercial information and preferences, internet or other electronic network activity information and device information, audio, electronic, visual, or other sensory information, and inferences. If you ask us to delete the personal data, the special deals may no longer be available to you. If you are not sure whether any request may affect your participation in an offer, please contact us at privacy@olivertraveltrailers.com. We are providing you with this information so that you may make an informed decision on whether to participate in our programs. Examples of the programs we may offer include:
(a) Customer Referral Reward Program: Oliver may offer a referral reward program in which an existing owner who owns Oliver equipment helps introduce a prospective buyer, for example by showing their travel trailer, and can receive a payment if that introduction leads to a purchase. This program is not active at all times. Where we run it and make a payment, we may collect the Personal Information needed to issue and report that payment to the tax authorities, including your name, address, and Social Security number. A Social Security number, if collected, is used only for tax reporting of the payment as required by law and is collected offline, never through the Site. Other Personal Information collected is used to administer the program and contact you about your referral, and is disclosed only to the service providers that help us run it, such as our customer-relationship-management provider; we do not sell it. Participation is optional and no purchase is required. You can ask us about the current terms, or cancel your participation, at any time by contacting Oliver at rewards@olivertraveltrailers.com. Our good-faith estimate of the value of your Personal Information is the value of the benefit we offer to you, calculated using our expense related to the benefit.
(b) Surveys: We may also offer our customers opportunities to participate in surveys. In exchange for participation, you may be offered a financial incentive, such as a discount or a coupon. As part of these surveys, we may collect Personal Information, such as your name, preferences, experiences, beliefs, opinions, and other responses to the survey questions. We may use such data to run the survey, improve our products and services, and send you the offer, along with marketing emails if you separately opt in, and we disclose it only to the service providers that help us run these programs, such as our email provider and our customer-relationship-management provider; we do not sell it. Participation in surveys is governed by the applicable terms and conditions for the survey, which will also describe any financial incentives associated with that survey and how to participate. You can terminate participation at any time as is or will be explained in the survey terms. Our good-faith estimate of the value of your Personal Information is the value of the benefit we offer to you. We have calculated such value by using the expense related to the benefit.
(c) Limited Time Promotions: From time to time, we may offer incentives limited to a specific time period, such as limited-time contests and other promotions. In exchange for your participation in these promotions, you may be offered a financial incentive, such as a prize, discount, or coupon. As part of these limited-time promotions, we may collect your Personal Information, such as your name, email address, and phone number, to run the promotion, deliver the incentive, and send you the offer, along with marketing emails if you separately opt in; we disclose it only to the service providers that help us run these programs and we do not sell it. Participation in a limited-time offer or promotion is governed by the applicable terms and conditions for the limited-time promotions, which will also describe any financial incentives associated with the promotion and how to participate. You can terminate participation at any time as will be explained in the promotion terms. The value of your Personal Information will be disclosed in the promotion terms.
(d) One-Time Promotions: In addition to the programs identified above, we may also offer you one-time percentage off coupons, discounts, or other promotions from time to time, such as when you provide us your email address and agree to receive marketing emails in exchange for a one-time promotion. Such offers may not be available at all times. We may use your Personal Information to send you the offer and the marketing emails you agreed to receive, and we disclose it only to the service providers that help us deliver these offers, such as our email provider; we do not sell it. The amount and terms of such offers will be presented to you at the time of the offer. You can terminate participation at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email or by contacting us at 1-888-526-3978. Our good-faith estimate of the value of your Personal Information is the value of the benefit we offer to you. We have calculated such value by using the expense related to the benefit.
By participating in any of the above promotional programs, you agree that the benefits are reasonably related to the value of the Personal Information collected and retained.
Participation in Oliver's promotional programs is always optional, and you can terminate program participation at any time as explained in the applicable program terms. You can also contact us at rewards@olivertraveltrailers.com to unsubscribe or cancel your participation in any program.
5. Disclosure of the Information
(a) Mergers and Acquisitions. Circumstances may arise where for business reasons, Oliver decides to sell, buy, merge, dissolve, or otherwise reorganize its businesses in the United States or some other country. Such a transaction may involve the disclosure of Personal Information to prospective or actual purchasers, and/or receiving such information from sellers. It is Oliver's practice to seek appropriate protection for Personal Information in these types of transactions.
Oliver maintains full rights to any information collected on the Site, and may freely collect, use, and disclose such information unless prohibited by this Privacy Policy or applicable law. In the event of a change in control of Oliver or sale by Oliver of substantially all of its assets, any information owned by or in the control of Oliver may be transferred to the Oliver successor, who will comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended from time to time.
(b) Agents. Oliver engages third-party companies and individuals to perform business functions on behalf of Oliver. These companies and individuals are provided with Personal Information required to perform their functions, but are prohibited by contract from using the information for other purposes. These persons engage in a variety of functions which include, but are not limited to, fulfilling orders, manufacturing, processing referral or reward payments, providing product and customer service support, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing payments (including any credit card payments), and providing customer services. Access to your Personal Information by these service providers is limited to the information reasonably necessary to perform its limited function. Such third parties' use of your information will be bound by this Policy.
We may store Personal Information in locations outside the direct control of Oliver (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers).
(c) Affiliated Businesses. Oliver Travel Trailer Sales Inc. is one of several Oliver companies under common ownership; there is no parent or holding company above us. We may share your information within that group for business purposes such as manufacturing, order fulfillment, warranty, and service. Today the only affiliate we share with is our manufacturing affiliate, Oliver Travel Trailers, Inc.; other Oliver companies may receive your information in the future for the same purposes. We do not share your information with any of them for their own independent marketing.
(d) Marketing and Usage Analysis by Third Parties. Oliver may disclose information to third parties for marketing analysis and usage patterns. Depending on the purpose, this may be aggregate data that does not identify an individual, or, where advertising cookies are active on your browser, it may include online identifiers shared with our advertising partners as described in Section 14 and our Cookie Policy. You can opt-out of that sharing at any time.
(e) Disclosure to Governmental Authorities. Oliver may disclose and release your Personal Information to government representatives: (a) to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; or (b) in special cases, such as a physical threat to you or others, a threat to homeland security, a threat to Oliver's system or network, or in any cases in which Oliver believes it is reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent harm, fraud, abuse, illegal conduct or a violation or alleged violation of this Policy or other agreement Oliver may have with you.
(f) Community Forum. If you register for or post in our community forum at olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/, your username, profile details, and posts are visible to other users and to the public, and are governed by our forum guidelines and this Policy. The forum runs on separate community software that acts as our service provider. Please do not post Personal Information in the forum that you want to keep private.
(g) Payment Processing. If you make a payment or deposit through the Site, it is handled by a third-party payment processor, currently Stripe and PayPal, or other payment processors we may use, under that processor's own terms. We do not store your full payment card number. Any stored card details, such as the last four digits and the card brand, are held by the payment processor, not on our systems.
(h) Personal Information Shared With Advertising and Analytics Partners. When you submit a form on the Site, such as a quote request or a contact form, you give us contact and identifying information, such as your name, email, phone number, and postal address. In addition to using it to respond to you, we may share it in hashed form, which is a coded version of the data, with advertising and analytics partners, such as Google and Meta and other platforms we may use, so that we can measure and report on our advertising, include you in or exclude you from seeing our ads, reach new audiences who resemble our customers, and improve how our advertising performs. By submitting a form, you consent to this use of the information you provide. Under California and other state laws, this may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information for advertising.
This consent does not override your cookie or advertising choices. If you have opted out of advertising sharing, whether through the consent banner, a Global Privacy Control signal, or a Do Not Sell or Share request, we do not include the information you submit in these advertising uploads, and submitting a form does not turn that sharing back on. You can opt-out, or withdraw this consent, at any time by adjusting the consent banner, sending a Global Privacy Control signal, emailing privacy@olivertraveltrailers.com, or calling 1-888-526-3978. When you opt-out, we remove you from these advertising audiences and will not include you in future uploads.
6. Use of Computer Tracking Technologies
(a) Information Collected Automatically. When you access the Site, we and the service providers acting on our behalf may passively or automatically collect Personal Information and non-identifying data regarding the means you use to access the Site and the content you view, for example through server logs, cookies, device fingerprinting, pixels, and web beacons (also called clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs). This information includes clickstream data and HTTP elements such as the pages you view, the number of visits, your IP address, device and browser type, and, where applicable, cookie and advertising identifiers. Some of this is Personal Information on its own or when combined with other data.
Oliver collects personal information from users during a transaction or request submitted on the Site, and may combine it with other information, such as clickstream and campaign data, to understand trends and patterns and to measure and improve our advertising. Some of this analysis is at an aggregate level. Some of it is tied to your individual record in our customer system, for example connecting your inquiry to the campaign that brought you to the Site, as described in Sections 12 and 14. We use this information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site, to measure and deliver advertising, and to prevent fraud and use it in accordance with the terms in this Policy.
Some content and tags on the Site are served by third parties, including advertisers and ad networks, and these third parties may use cookies, web beacons, or other tracking technologies to collect information about you. These advertising and analytics tools load according to your region and your choices, as described in our Cookie Policy and in Sections 12 and 14, and you can-opt out at any time. Aggregate statistics that do not identify you may be shared with third parties. Identifiers and other Personal Information are shared only with our service providers and advertising partners as described in this Policy and our Cookie Policy.
(b) "DO NOT TRACK" browser signals. Most modern browsers also include a "do not track" feature that may help protect your privacy. However, because there is not yet a defined response to do-not-track requests, the Site does not respond to your browser's do-not-track request. This means that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.
(c) Use of Cookies. Cookies are small data files that are transferred to your hard drive when your browser settings permit the acceptance of cookies. Similar technologies, such as web beacons or pixel tags function through the use of small files, such as a GIF or PNG, which are opened on a page or in an email. The request for these files from a server reveals certain information, such as your browser type, IP address, and other information. To learn more about cookies and similar tracking technologies, and how they can affect your privacy, visit allaboutcookies.org. The Site may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. These technologies are widely used for security, to learn about and improve upon how users navigate a website, or to enable certain features. By tracking how and when you use the Site, these technologies help us determine which features and content on the Site are most important to our visitors. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, you can turn off cookies using your browser's settings menu; however, this may eliminate our ability to provide you with some of the features or functionality you would otherwise experience on the Site.
Some of the cookies on the Site are first-party cookies that we set ourselves, such as our consent cookie and our campaign-attribution cookie. Others are placed by third parties, such as Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and Google Ads, when their tools load after you allow the matching category; the tables in our Cookie Policy list the provider for each cookie. By using the Site, you agree to the use of cookies for the following purposes, unless you opt-out of the use of Performance and Analytics Cookies or Functionality Cookies in a manner described by this Policy:
- 1. Essential Cookies: these are essential in order to enable you to move around the Site and use its features.
- 2. Performance and Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics ("Analytics") helps us understand how visitors use the Site. Depending on how it is configured and your cookie choices, the information it collects may be aggregated and not identify you, or it may include online identifiers such as your IP address and device or cookie identifiers. As described in our Cookie Policy, Analytics does not run before you allow the analytics category, not even in a cookieless mode, and sets its cookies only after you allow it. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on in your browser, or opt-out by clicking here.
- 3. Functionality Cookies: these are small data files that remember the choices you make on the Site. These cookies help make your visit more personal and are deleted automatically when you close your browser or the session expires.
You cannot opt-out of Essential cookies. You can block or disable any other cookies on your device at any time by indicating this in the preferences or options menus in your web browser. You can also delete the cookies that are stored on your device. However, blocking, disabling, or deleting cookies may limit your ability to view all the pages of the Site. You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org. To learn more about, or to opt-out of Google's analytic and marketing services, visit Google Analytics Terms of Service, the Google Privacy Policy, and Google Analytics Opt-out.
(d) Use of Web Beacon Technologies. Oliver may also use Web beacons or other technologies, such as Meta Pixel, to better tailor the Site to users to provide better customer service. If these technologies are in use, when you access certain pages on our Site, a record of that visit is generated and may be processed by Oliver and its service providers to measure and deliver our advertising. Depending on the technology and your cookie choices, that record may include online identifiers. Web beacons usually work in conjunction with cookies. If a user does not want cookie information to be associated with the user's visits to these pages, the user can set its browser to turn off cookies. To learn more about the data Meta collects, please visit Meta's personal data policy at Meta Privacy Policy. For specific information about Meta Pixel, please visit Meta Pixel.
(e) Collection of Usage Information. Oliver may collect usage information from visits to the Site in order to provide better customer service. Some of this information is aggregated and does not identify you, and some may include online identifiers. Examples of such collecting include: traffic analysis, such as tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors; measuring visitor activity on the Site; Site and system administration; user analysis; and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as "clickstream data". Oliver or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.
You may also opt-out of the usage of non-essential cookies by accessing the banner presented to you when you access our Site. You can learn more about our cookie usage in our Cookie Policy.

SSL technology can encrypt Personal Information transmitted over the Internet. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, Oliver does not warrant the security of its servers, nor does Oliver warrant that your information, including Personal Information, will be completely secure or not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. Oliver shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of Personal Information due to no fault of Oliver including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of Oliver staff and/or third parties.
(c) Deletion and Disabling of Your Account. If you would like assistance disabling your account, please contact customer service at privacy@olivertraveltrailers.com. Keep in mind, however, that even if you delete information from your account and/or profile, Oliver may retain your Personal Information in conformance with its data retention policy and Personal Information may remain within Oliver's databases, access logs, and other records. In addition, Oliver is not responsible for updating or removing your Personal Information contained in the lists or databases of third-parties who have been provided information as permitted by this Policy.
8. Privacy Policy Changes and Opt-Out Rights
(a) Changes to Privacy Policy. Oliver may update this Policy at any time. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy. For material changes, we may also give a more prominent notice, such as a banner or a pop-up asking you to acknowledge or accept the change, and where we do, following that process will also count as your acceptance.
(b) Opt-Out Right. Oliver does not sell your Personal Information for money or other valuable consideration. However, in California, some of the activities conducted on this Site may be treat as a sale or sharing of Personal Information under California law. Such activities include the sharing of online identifiers with our advertising partners when advertising cookies are active (Section 14) and the form-based sharing of contact information described in Section 5(h). (b) Terms of Use. If you register an account with the Site, a request for services via the Site, or otherwise contact us via this Site, your action is hereby deemed acceptance of Oliver's practices described in this Privacy Policy. Any dispute over privacy between a Site user and Oliver is subject to the provisions of this Policy and to Oliver's Terms and Conditions which are hereby incorporated herein and which can be read at https://olivertraveltrailers.com/terms-and-conditions/.
12. Your Consent to Tracking Technologies and Site Activity
(a) Consent by use. When you use the Site and accept cookies through our cookie banner, you agree that Oliver, and the service providers acting on Oliver's behalf, may collect, record, and analyze your interactions with the Site. This includes the pages you view, the links and buttons you select, the searches you run, the information you submit through forms, and technical data such as your IP address, device, and browser. We do not record your keystrokes and do not capture what you type before you submit a form. You give this consent for yourself and for anyone who uses the Site through your device or connection.
(b) Our service providers act for us. The analytics, advertising, fraud-prevention, and customer-system tools described in our Cookie Policy, including Google, Meta, and others, process this information as Oliver's service providers and at Oliver's direction. For this purpose they act as an extension of our own operation of the Site, and not as independent parties intercepting your visit. Oliver is a party to every interaction you have with the Site.
(c) Measuring site activity. Some of these tools measure which pages you view and which links and buttons you select, so that we can improve the Site, support you, measure our advertising, and prevent fraud. This measurement does not record your keystrokes or capture the content of a form before you choose to submit it. By continuing to use the Site after our cookie banner is shown to you, you consent to the collection by Oliver and its service providers of the cookies you accepted. If you do not consent, you can reject advertising cookies in the banner or in cookie settings, you may contact Oliver by e-mail privacy@olivertraveltrailers.com and you may stop using the Site.
(d) Telephone calls. As stated in Section 2(c), Oliver may monitor or record telephone calls for staff training and quality assurance. By calling Oliver, or by asking Oliver to call you, you consent to that monitoring and recording.
(e) Campaign attribution. After you opt-in, our campaign tracker records only how you reached us, such as the ad, campaign, or search that referred you, including ad-click identifiers from advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, and Microsoft, and the campaign values in the web address. These are our own first-party cookies, and they do not run before you opt-in. They hold no name, email, phone number, or other identifying detail, only the campaign source, and they are not shared with third parties. When you submit a form, we include this campaign source with your submission so that we can credit the right campaign in our customer system (Zoho CRM) and follow up with you. You can opt-out of advertising at any time, as described in Section 14.
13. Notice at Collection and Data Retention
(a) Notice at collection. The categories of Personal Information we collect, the purposes for which we use each category, and the parties we disclose it to are described in Sections 3, 5, and 6 of this Policy. We collect this information to respond to your requests, to provide and improve the Site and our products and services, to run our rewards and promotional programs, to deliver and measure advertising, to prevent fraud, and to meet our legal obligations.
(b) Retention. We keep each category of Personal Information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy, and then for the additional period needed to meet our legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and recordkeeping obligations and to resolve disputes, including keeping information that may be relevant to a legal claim for at least the applicable limitations period, which for some California claims is up to five (5) years. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. As a general guide:
- Inquiry and lead records in our customer system: kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward to follow up and maintain our business records, then are deleted or de-identified.
- Purchase, payment, and financial records: generally about seven (7) years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
- Email and messaging logs: about twenty-four (24) months.
- Advertising and campaign identifiers: about thirty (30) to ninety (90) days.
- Consent and opt-out records: at least five (5) years, so they cover the longest period in which a related legal claim may be brought.
These periods are general estimates and may change as our legal obligations require.
(c) Categories of recipients. We share Personal Information with the following kinds of recipients:
- Service providers acting for us, bound by contract to use the information only to provide their service: payment processing (Stripe, PayPal), email delivery providers, our customer system and website visitor tracking, including any live chat we may offer (Zoho CRM, Zoho SalesIQ), telephone and text-messaging platforms, hosting (our web host), workflow and lead-routing tools, and reviews display (Trustindex).
- Advertising and analytics partners that may be treated as third parties under state law, such as Google and Meta, and others we may use, as described in Sections 5(h) and 14 and in our Cookie Policy. You can opt-out of this sharing at any time.
- Others as described in this Policy, including affiliated businesses, a party to a sale or transfer of our business, and government or legal authorities where the law requires.
14. Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising; Opt-Out and Global Privacy Control
(a) Sharing for advertising. When advertising cookies are active, whether because you allowed them or because they run by default where the law permits, we allow advertising partners to receive online identifiers and activity so they can deliver and measure our advertising across other sites and services. Under California law this can be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or a "sale" of Personal Information.
(b) How to opt-out. You can opt-out at any time by opening cookie settings and turning off advertising cookies, rejecting cookies in our cookie banner when it is presented to you or by emailing privacy@olivertraveltrailers.com. Opting out stops the advertising trackers from loading on your browser.
(c) Global Privacy Control. We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt-out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information for that browser automatically.
(d) Form-based sharing. Separately from cookies, we share the contact information you submit through forms with advertising platforms, as described in Section 5(h). You can opt-out of that sharing in the same ways as noted in Section 14(b) above, and your opt-out, including any Global Privacy Control signal, applies to it.
15. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity with us directly. We may deny a request from an agent who does not provide proof that you authorized them to act for you.
