  1. You do have an option to have a shower curtain installed such that the side with the toilet is blocked from the shower. We have this and it is really better that a 'dry' bath because the curtain will flex out of your way when you move around giving the functioality of a larger shower.
  2. I just got back from a 2000 mile trip after tightening the nuts on the through bolts using a partial split nut to to secure the bolt (note to Oliver: we need carriage bolts as through bolts to prevent spinning!). Put 30 ft lbs of torque on bolts using a box end torque wrench adapter and cleaned and resealed the joints. NO MOVEMENT!!!
  3. UPDATE: Saturday 6/26-I attempted to remove the nylock nut from one of the thru studs but the stud immediately started to turn with the nut. i.e. it's not a carriage bolt design??? Anybody have any insight to this dilemma? This is a 2021 LEII.
  4. It's Hull #749. There is a boot over the hull through bolt nut...a small amount of caulk was worked into the bottom of the boot at the bracket to insure a seal. It is a Girrard awning set up with an awning on each side. I'm guessing that it is silicone caulk. The tear was noticed a while back (couple of trips ago). I've been monitoring this issue and no further movement has been noted.
  5. I have noticed that my Awning attachment brackets have small tears in the sealant around the flange connection to the fiberglass . I have attached a pic. Any suggestion on what may have caused this and how to fix?
  6. I recently bought a Ollie EII. As delivered and loaded it weighs about 6200lb. I also bought a Trax6000 to move it around back of the garage on concrete with a rain slope only. I've been using the Trax on the Ollie for about a month now and it will do the job, however, the Trax is just about maxed out. To handle the much larger momentum of the triler I've learned that the light weight Trax has to move slowly and be sure to use the brake . Sometimes when trying to turn the trailer too sharply the resistance of the tandem axel to turns is too much for the Trax and it will have a tendency to tip sideways. Just don't take too big a bite at once and your OK. GO SLOW!! I installed the longer handle and that made the system more manageable when trying to redirect the trailer. The Bulldog coupler requires the Trax supplied shim for the ball mount to clear the slide collar. Be sure to cinch up the cam over lever as tight as you can make it. This will add stability as well.
