We live out west in Northwestern Arizona . We travel to Eastern Colorado / Kansas via I-70 across the Rockies on occasion . We have decided we will need at a minimum an F-250 / Ram 2500 for an L.E.II . As a retired long haul reefer driver the combination is so important . I have seen so many rigs along the side of the roadway approaching Vail / Eisenhower pass .. Not a good feeling .. Just remember folks when it comes to the rubber hitting the road ; it is the total loaded weight of BOTH vehicles ( combination ) one needs to consider .
