I live in Northern Virginia and might be too old to start this journey; but if I don't do it now, I will never do it!  In June of 2024, I will turn 80 years old.  I am a widower of nearly nine years.  I am thinking of traveling the 850 miles to view the factory.  I have talked to Josh White and hope to meet him when I take this tour.  I have listened to many testimonials and thank all of them.  If I do purchase an Oliver, it will be the one with the double axle.  I'm thinking of boom docking and I'm sure those who are in sales, will guide me to make the right choices.  I would also need to purchase a truck.  I'm thinking that the Gross weight of the Elite II is 7,000 pounds that I should get something that tolls at least 9,000 pounds.  Agree?  Also, I talked to a GMC car dealership and he recommends a diesel.  It was priced around $63,000 or so.  I didn't look at any other vehicles and won't purchase unless I buy an Oliver.  I'd be anxious to hear what your suggestions might be regarding a vehicle to tow the Elite II.
