  1. Thanks. Looking forward to the updates.
  2. @Ronbrink I get the same results using the Cielo in my garage with a mini split. Always had humidity spikes in there. Thanks for showing us the Cielo.
  3. Here is a screenshot of the Pioneer sound level in DB in the Ollie. My friends phone showed 38 DB. He has the Penguin 2 on his custom rig (pictured) and he was amazed how quiet and how low the wattage is on the units.
  4. Pioneer has a Remote Thermostat now with an app like the Cielo Breeze Max. No idea if it works as well. https://www.pioneerminisplit.com/products/pioneer-wireless-smart-ac-controller
  5. I like how you rewired. I need to do that. Thank you very much!
  6. I changed the Max Charging Amps to 24 Amps from 50 Amps on the Victron 100/50 MPPT. The #10 wires were getting warm going to the battery. These Panels put out a LOT of power but the good thing is even in very cloudy weather they still stay near 100 watts and with any sunshine get near 300 Watts. They easily out produce the OTT Roof Mount Panels I have which I believe are 340 Watts.
  7. One thing at a time Grasshopper. While u install the axles more videos and products could hit the market. Heck it will be cooling down very soon now you could prolly coast into March and get it then.
  8. If you are going to keep the remote nearby to make adjustments just act like the phone is your remote? The app has a Ton more features. It's very convenient. And you are connected to the AC from anywhere to make adjustments if you have Wi-Fi.
  9. I had the Ollie out in 95 Degree Central Florida Sunshine today and the Pioneer dropped the temperature to 78 and cycled fine. It was drawing around 685 watts. It is also very quiet. I was running off my inverter and the batteries.
  10. Do any of the RV AC Systems have a variable speed fan for pushing the climatized Air? I had a few mini splits in homes and I never saw one that had a variable fan for the climatized air. All were 3 speeds L, M, H and Auto. None shut off after the cycle completed. This is what makes the Cielo Breeze Max T Stat so good it shuts the fan off after the cycle completes if you want that to happen.
  11. I don't think the numbers will change one bit. It cools the Ollie so effortlessly there's not much load in cooling an insulated cooler! ;*))
  12. Have you used it camping? Not Yet Still getting the same numbers? Yes Is it truly quiet or how would you describe it? You can have a conversation with it running For every hour of use on a summer day, how many Ah are used in battery SOC? It only runs a few minutes every 30 minutes or longer. Mine is stored in the Vault in the AC Answers to any of these Qs would be helpful. Also, did you keep the fiberglass platform that OTT had mounted behind the 14x14" A/C opening? Yes I don't believe our hull has that add-on. I'm trying to finalize if this is the right purchase and is now the right time to buy the Turbro Greenland which is now at $1,275 plus tax. Except in warranty and perhaps temp range, the Pioneer and Greenland appear to be the same. minutes or so. Only you can make that call Sorry I can't give you more info.
  13. Got the Secondary Solar Power System finished. Works well.
  14. I watched a video and it indicated the amperage will be limited to the highest rating of the Victron. I think that's why you never get full power? In any case I ordered the bigger 100/50 and am exchanging my 100/30 thank you very much for replying.
  15. I miscalculated. I know big surprise! I need a 100/50 for 450 watts of solar. I figured it using the panel voltage not the battery volts originally. It must be Friday.......
  16. I have a mini split at my house and I bought the Cielo for it. I use the scheduler and let it run with the fan like a normal mini split in the day but at night it automatically switches over to a different mode I set up where the fan shuts off with compressor. It's a great little Thermostat. You can set up multiple modes with different names within Comfy or Comfy Max and set it up to use them at set times and days.
  17. @SeaDawg I checked the Polarity. Waiting on the Panel to see the length cable extensions needed. Thank you.
  18. Ordered the ZoupW 450 Watt Solar Suitcase and a Victron 100/20 Bluetooth MPPT. The Zamp Outlet has a fuse under the Streetside Bed. It was not Installed. Waiting to recieve the Suitcase to see how long to order the cables with reverse zamp connector.
  19. Hi Everyone, I am interested in adding a portable Solar System to the Ollie 2. I have the roof mounted Zamp setup already this will supliment that. How should I go about it? thx w
  20. @Ronbrink yer a genius. Thank you!
  21. @Ronbrink did you mention there's a way to have the fan continue running for a few minutes after compressor shuts off?
  22. Thanks for posting this Thermostat @Ronbrink. I would have never found it without your original thread. Here is the way the Pioneer cycles in the Ollie 2. It is in an A/C space kept at 80 degrees with the Pioneer set to 76 for testing.
  23. I went ahead and started a thread for this Smart Thermostat. I just installed it for my Pioneer Inverter and it works like a charm. Fan shuts down with the compressor. A wonderful little gadget. Thank you folks for showing us this. All I did was use the USB port in the Ollie for power and it was a "Breez" to get connected. Thanks for schooling us on the comfort modes too.
  24. Turn off AC Breaker and Remove Furnace Fuse Step 1 Remove Interior Trims and Screws. Step 2 Remove the 4 Mounting bolts from Inside cabin. Step 3 Take a picture of the wiring Step 4 Disconnect all wiring to the Control Box and disconnect drain hose Step 5 use a little Braid fishing line up on the roof to cut the seal on 1 corner of the AC mounting gasket. Step 6 Break loose the unit by picking up on the Braid loosened corner then working your way to each corner until unil is no longer attached Step 7 Remove old rooftop unit Step 8 Clean the residue from the old gasket with any type of oil even vegetable or olive will work, Scrub the oil off after. Step 9 set the roof top unit in place. All the foam seal and leveling is attached don't overthink it just mount it. Hole is perfect size already. Step 10 Open Dometic Furnace and use a continuity tester to ID the 2 wire from the Furnace. They were blue on the Furnace but changed to blue and green somewhere before arriving up at the interior hole on my Ollie Step 11 Remove Dometic Thermostat and ID the wires to the Interior hole. I had a 3 wire Green, Red, White. Step 12 wire 2 wires from Furnace to Red and white going to ThermoStat. Push the wires into the channel the wires are in up top to get them out of the way Step 13 Cut off drain pipe even with opening. No longer needed Step 14 Eye up 4 mounting bolt holes in the square hole and make them even spaced to each corner. Mine used the 2 inch one. Step 15 Apply the correct thickness foam seal to the Unit or bottom bracket. Step 16 Mount the bracket make be sure to feed the wires through the big opening. Step 17 Connect the connectors and hook up power wire Step 18 Torque the bolts to 3.5 lbs Step 19 Install the trims Step 20 Install the batteries in the remote. Turn on the breaker and fire it up Refrain from using the LED lights for at least a day the Joy of the New AC and then the lights will be too much for your body to take in 1 sitting! Get a 2 wire Heat Only Thermostat for the Furnace. I will post the one I got later. Wire it up and install the fuse. Enjoy I may of forgotten a few things but you Geniuses can help me with that. ;^)) The Interior trim is much smaller than the Dometic, There will be 2 screw holes showing, I am thinking just get 2 screws with finish washers and fill the hole. Let me know if there's an easier fix.
