Bathroom faucet access

Has anyone had to access the bathroom faucet connections or replace the flex hose for the shower?  Seems there is no way to do this without installing a port on the front of the cabinet or in the closet.  The 4" port used on the propane cover would be good, but exactly where to put it is tricky.  What do they do at the factory to fix these?

The shelf unit below the sink is removable. Depending on whether you have a newer or older unit affects the ease at which this is accomplished. This is good for both the plumbing and accessing the wire run from the front of the trailer.
