Cslcs25 Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 We are planning to have Pineknot 2021 October 20-24 at Salmon Lake Park in Grapeland, Texas (approximately 130 miles north of Houston for those unfamiliar with the area). The park is under new ownership but so far it appears any changes from prior years will be minor. Watch for more details and opening of registration in mid July at: https://www.mfrvg.com/pineknot . While trailer parking is virtually unlimited, management has noted that cabin rentals are in short supply so if a cabin is in your plans please make that reservation as soon as possible. We have also been informed that the entire park is rented prior to our rally so no arrivals before Monday the 18th please. We are working with management to see if Sunday the 17th arrivals are an option but at this point it looks like the 18th. Dave and Linda Allen
Trainman Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 This will be our 5th year to attend the Pineknot Rally, we first started going with a Casita and now have an Oliver. There will be three, or four other couples there that we see at other Casita Rallies with there Oliver's and more are showing up each year at the Pineknot. Plus look for other fiberglass trailers, many have Escapes and there numbers are growing each year. trainman 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears. Oliver was sold.
Sputnik Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Is there any information online yet to sign up for the Pineknot rally.
Trainman Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 We attended the Rally and all was fine. Sorry but for some reason the four other Oliver owners did not attend this year that usually come, for what reasons I do not know. We were the only Oliver there so we did get much attention to our trailer and several came buy and asked questions. This is mainly a Casita rally, but as you know many Casita owners move on to the larger fiberglass trailers, like the Oliver's and Escapes. There is no need to sign up for this rally as there are some 500 places to camp, this Camp ground is setup for large Blue Grass Festivals so space is no problem, but signing up in advance is recommended, but you pay no money at that time, all paid when you showup. trainman 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears. Oliver was sold.
