Some feedback on the Houghton air conditioner

What, if any, changes did you have to make to the thermostat after installation, as it relates to the furnace? After removing the Dometic AC and installing the Houghton, the furnace does not run. Thanks -
Did you change out to the Houghton unit yourself?
