  1. We just purchased our new 22 ft. Oliver 3 weeks ago. All of my former trailers were towed with sway control including a 25 ft. Big Foot. I wanted to wait and see if we needed to add the sway after towing our unit back to Ohio. We traveled on 4 lane highways, the majority of the way home, and experienced no problems with loss of control or sway. We averaged around 60 miles per hour with large trucks passing us at a high rate of speed. The Oliver seems to be well balanced and tracks really well behind our 2012 Tundra. I believe its all about weight distribution and how you load your camper. Jerry
  2. Hi everyone, Well, we picked up our new 22 Oliver Elite last week and we are happy to report that we are extremely pleased with the way the unit handled on our way back to Ohio. We tow with a 2012 Tundra and experienced no sway or control problems. The unit seems to be well balanced with little movement and we encountered heavy truck traffic on the interstates. Things we love about the unit, twin beds with upgraded mattresses, bulldog hitch, electric jacks, gray granite-like counter tops, the sea moss flooring, and the attention to detail in the design and engineering of this camper. Can't say enough good things about Robert Pardee and his responses when we had a few questions while out on the road. Also a big thanks to Larry and Betty Harmon who sat for 4 hours, patiently answering all of our questions, while on their Oliver Tour up the East Coast. If anyone is interested in seeing this unit or if we can be of any help, contact Robert at the factory and he will let us know. Jerry and Claudette
  3. Any idea when your trailer will be ready? I tow with a 2012 Tundra and the Bigfoot weighed in around 7200 lbs. No problems with bounce or sway. I sold my Equalizer with the trailer. Will be going to the factory soon.
  4. Is there anyone out there that has towed a 22 ft Oliver. Do you experience any problems with sway? I have towed extensively with sway control and weight distribution set ups. I just recently towed a 25 foot Big Foot with the Equilizer brand hitch and really liked the control I had with this setup. I know the Oliver is considerably lighter and shorter in length. Any experience or suggestions would be appreciated. Jerry
  5. Hi everyone, We made a visit to the factory in October of last year and we were really impressed with the design and the little extras that were available on the new Olivers. Robert took the time to answer all of our questions and went out of his way on the tour of the factory to explain how the Olivers were different than other fiberglass trailers. We are long time campers and I have a buyer from Texas who will be purchasing our 25 ft Big Foot trailer. As soon as the weather clears he will be making the trek up to Ohio to purchase. We decided to downsize a little and that led us to the Oliver. Hope to meet up with some of you in the near future. Jerry and Claudette
