  1. We're having the same issue and the frequent short fan starts and stops is not only annoying, it's aggravating as it might be a sign that something is wrong. The downside of running in the "Low" setting the is that the fan NEVER shuts off - which makes it about impossible to watch TV, have a conversation without shouting, or even hold a thought in your head. We have a marine A/C unit in a boat, and it regularly turns on the fan for a few seconds to "sniff" the air temperature to see if it needs to turn on the compressor. That is annoying. The situation in the Ollie is worse. I doubt this condition is a power issue, as on initial start-up, the fan always starts and then the compressor kicks in. If it were a power issue (IMHO) the unit would certainly falter at that time. Frankly, I think this is a bad programming job by the Dometic engineering people than can and needs to be fixed. Once they do that, then maybe they can reduce the noise level to something less than running a Harley in your camper...
  2. Not even from Missouri, but until I see something - or have other factual evidence that it exists - I can't be sure it's really there. I don't doubt the integrity or good intentions of the fine folks in Hohenwald that built our unit - but anybody can goof up and forget something. At any rate, I just obtained the bits and pieces I need to make the neutral ground bonding plug and I'll try the experiment again. Though needing one seems to be common knowledge among this crowd, this points & condenser guy who still has to convert millimeters to inches to visualize it is still coming up to speed on the systems that make the space age travel trailer of the 21st century tick.
  3. Hi all, first real post but had the first need to seek some informed opinions. We have a 2022 LEII hull #1029 and (supposedly) have the soft start option on our A/C. (I say supposedly because I imagine it's inside the A/C unit and I haven't opened it up.) I thought our Honda EU2200i would run it pretty handily, but the surge suppressor shuts down every time I try. My wild guess would be that the low-voltage protection is kicking in because everything shuts down and resets after a few seconds. I can run a 12,000 BTU Marine A/C with some effort, but that doesn't even have a soft start option. Reading the above comments makes me think it might be the neutral grounding plug. Would that cause the surge suppressor to cut power? I can't tell what the error code is because when it shuts down and restarts, it shows the "E 09" code - which I think is because it takes a few seconds to reinitiate the data link. Is a neutral grounding plug exactly what it sounds like - the neutral and ground prong are jumpered together at the plug? Any advice?
