Moderators SeaDawg Posted September 19, 2008 Moderators Posted September 19, 2008 Our road home this week took us through southern Illinois... land of Lincoln, and big blue skies, fluffy clouds, alternating fields of beans and corn as far as the eye can see... and that's a long, long way in this rich, flat farmland.... It makes my heart sing to stand in the bright late summer sun and enjoy the great gift of the prairie. Here's a photo of our Oliver taking a break at an Illinois rest stop: Somewhere not far from Vandalia, Illinois, the capitol for about twenty years in the early 19th century, and still a lovely little town. Sherry 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar. DC compressor fridge. No inverter. 2 x 105 ah agm batteries . Life is good.
