A old gag that was designed to promote tourism, still works !

Before the nearby truckstop was closed, Butcherknife and I had refueled there a number of times and had looked the leaning water tower over. The story behind the construction of this wonderful gag could be the best part, if only I could remember all of the details.

My Grandson hadn't seen it before, so I played it up pretty big, and never told him any different. He wasn't dozing in the passengers seat much after that !

Ain't it cool that because of the size and handling of our fiberglass travel trailers, we can just suddenly decide to go exploring with out unhooking the tow ? In this short clip we turn down a rutted dirt road, cross a cattle guard and make a u turn on the open range, immediately after leaving the interstate, where we had been traveling 65/70 MPH. The four inch lift axle helps with giving more choices of turn arounds. The fifteen inch tires and wheels give needed flotation in the very sandy soil.
