BIG CHANGE IN October 2023!

Hi campers

Our gathering formally known as Fiberglass gathering at Lake Casitas is going to be held this October 26-30, 2023 at Lake Lopez in San Luis Obispo county.

I spent the weekend there and discovered a fantastic place for us.  Lots of trees at each site, full hookups, water, 30 amp electric and sewer.

The Quail section at Lopez Lake has 48 spots.  Some are already taken since they allow reservations a year in advance.  I highly recommend it if you are joining us to make your reservation NOW. 

Once you’ve made a reservation please email the following information to me so I know how many are coming.

Space # Dates in and out

Phone number

Pets

What I saw in the Quail loop was if folks can get the following sites we will be able to have a nice large gathering area for us.  Those sites available right now are 14,36,37,38,42.  Attached is a map of Quail and the green dot is where we would like to have our gatherings, under a beautiful Oak tree.  If you haven’t made a reservation yet try to get one of these sites that I have noted above.  Those that have made a reservation, please send me your info as stated above. 

When making your reservation check the length of the site to fit your rig.  All sites have different lengths. Some , 36, 37,and 38 are pull throughs. 

This change is an executive decision on my part, due to the increasing problems of getting space at Lake Casitas.  This change will be a trial this year and we will see how we like Lopez Lake vs. Lake Casitas.

Today I will post at the many fiberglass forums for new folks interested in joining us for a fun event.  Activities will happen as in years past, when folks step up to host them.

If Quail fills up and we have more wanting to join us, another section just across the street is Mallard or Blue Jay and folks can make their reservations for that section.  Lopez is very large and accommodating!
