1. I like to travel with our fresh water tank low/empty for weight reasons when I know we will arrive at a site with potable water. I have noticed that while hooked to city water that our fresh tank has been slowly filling up. This gets to about 55% over two days. My question is do I have a valve in a wrong position? I have check all the valves and they are either open or closed. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

4. I have a number of owners who have asked me to craft shower mats for them therefore, I going to open this up for everyone. My shower mats are made from Honduran mahogany in a crosshatch pattern. Designed and assembled using over 40 precision shiplap joints with brass screws and no glue, making them lightweight and very strong. They fit your Oliver shower floor perfectly, stay put during travel and will last for year to come. The crosshatch pattern drains away water quickly and keeps you from standing in water. Their rubber feet protect your shower pan and provide a non-slip grip. Cost $185 plus UPS charges to ship to your address. If you would like one, please contact me at cell 516 635-5656 or email 48ocean@gmail.com Please note: These are wood and as such will need a little care from time to time. After each shower, simply tilt the mat up toward your closet wall and let it dry. Every few months scrub them with a soft bristle brush let dry complete and apply a light coat of mineral oil.
5. This production run is now closed. I will turn to Shower mats next week.

They are Hondurans Mahogany and Rock Maple done in a ship decking pattern They are designed to stay in place when traveling and can be used on both sides. Cost $75 plus UPS charges to ship to your address. If you would like one please contact me at cell 516 635-5656 or email 48ocean@gmail.com Please note: These are wood and as such will need a little care from time to time. 9. Oh where to start... This thread had me laughing for 10 minutes! A special thanks to our comedians and to say "I asked for it" is an understatement. However; we do have a winner! RnA your right, it was off the Spare Tire. I took it off to check air pressure and must have missed it when it fell to the ground. Thanks again for being some of the most support people I know and with NEW added humor. Foy
10. Pulled the trailer forward yesterday morning to adjust the Anderson hitch and found this washer. It was near the rear driver side wheels. Looked all over the bottom of the trailer but could not find where it might have come from.

11. To say its Hot in Florida this summer is an understatement. Add to that the humidity and you don't want to be outside. But just how hot is it? I wanted an outside remote thermometer for our Oliver just so I would know what I was walking into. Found an inexpensive one at Amazon with good reviews from - ThermoPro TP60 $18.00. http://a.co/dVuRtBu Took only a few minutes to setup and it came with batteries. I used heavy duty Velcro on both the backs of the remote and the display. Placed the remote unit under the solar panels on the wiring hub and the display unit next to the AC thermostat. Now I know. Oh look, its only 88 degree outside with 84% humidity... at 8am. Heading to the pool,
12. I decided to address this problem by purchasing a mid-level wireless TV headphones and an Extra headset made by ARTISTE. You can find both at Amazon with the links below for a total cost of $120.00. http://a.co/aJeVrIW http://a.co/0tXXVHz Once they arrived I tested them in our home and they worked great. We could walk around the hold house without a problem in reception. Next, I took them out to our Oliver for a test drive. I placed the transmitter/charger in the back overhead storage and plugged it into the outlet. Note there a two video/audio jacks on your TV and one HDMI port. One set of video/audio jacks runs to your receiver and the other is a spare cable in your read overhead storage. I used the space cable instead of the one supplied. Very simple and quick. When I tested the noise level with the AC on and the fan on high it was at 65dB+, to loud to hear the TV. With the headphone on, it worked perfectly. The charge last about 8 hours and charges back up in about an hour. Not the best sound quality, a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. Bose would be a 10 but also cost $400. After all its just TV. Better Call Saul season 4 anyone? Onward,
13. I was testing our quick-connect propane connector with an outdoor stove today. It works great, so glad we had it added to the back of our Oliver. I left the propane tank values open but shut-off the stove and went in to eat lunch. When I came back out I thought I smelt gas! Checked the stove it was still off and no smell around it. Walked closer to the front of the trailer, there it was again. Clearly gas and coming from the front propane tank cover. Opening up the cover, I could see frost over both tanks and the curb side tank was bubbling at the QCC Connection brass crimped fitting. Not good. Shut the tank values, not that there was much gas left and took the hose off. While our Oliver is only a year old the hose looked fine, no cracks or weathering. Got online and looked up the hose, its a Marshall Excelsior MER425-15 15" RV Pigtail - Female QCC Type 1 Connection X 1/4" Male Inverted Flare. The 1/4" Male Inverted Flare is the important point if you even need to replace one. There is a short Camco video that explains the two type of hoses In reading reviews, most of these don't last outside for more then two years. I decided to check the other one with some soapy water and sure enough it was leaking too, only not as much. Something to add to your yearly check list, as it is now on mine. Back to ordering two new hoses from amazon.com http://a.co/6zEYFQX and heading to the hardware store for propane. Better to have happened now, then on the road. Onward,
14. Oh the thought of Colorado in the summer. In Florida its 88 this morning and going to 93 by mid-day.
15. Thanks OverLand! Got eh app and yes very cool tool. I get 75dB standing directly under the AC and 65dB at both bed height and the dinette. OSHA permissible noise level is 90dB for 8 hours and we are below that sleeping at 65dB.
16. Thanks Steve. I knew this was coming just hoping it was something else. Going to take the towel rack out and flush the lines.
17. Next update: First I would like to thank roguebooks for their post on their leaking faucet. Their post helped me understand how to check the Ceramic Disc Cartridge for debris. Unfortunately this has not solved the problem. I have removed the hand-held sprayer head from the hose and check it for debris, it is clear. Turning on the water with the head removed has very little water coming out the hose itself. I have removed the Ceramic Disc Cartridge from the faucet. I have carefully taken the blue retaining ring off the Ceramic Disc Cartridge and found no debris inside it. Turning on the water without the Ceramic Disc Cartridge in place has a small amount of water coming out of the 3 holes where the Ceramic Disc Cartridge sits. Access the the water lines that attach to the faucet are not easy to access as I will have to remove the towel rack. Can anyone think of anything I may have missed to clean out before I take the cabinet apart to check the water line where they connect to the faucet?
18. I too am interested in how load it is. Just need to find a sound meter to barrow :)
19. I want to ask Dometic Penguin II owner's about the noise level then your AC is running. While I am very happy with the cooling performance on our unit, especially here is sunny Florida, the noise is overwhelming. When the AC kicks in and we are watching the TV and with the audio turned up all the way, we can't hear it. While I can pump the TV audio through the four speakers to fix this situation somewhat, it is very distorted at best. I have read the threads in the forum regarding AC noise but found no real answers. I also searched the web and dometic.com for noise issues around the Dometic Penguin II but, can't find anything other then what a great improvement this unit is over older ones. That may be true, but I hope not. Would appreciate your thoughts on this issue. Thanks,
20. I will let you know about anodes once they do the work. I am interested as well.
21. Steve your right. I have had no tracking problems and Daniel even comment on my tires, the lack of wear after 20K miles. Daniel did say he had seen this problem one time before. And your right Steve, he could have given me some BS but no! He went right for the most costly solution at his expense. That shows me Daniel Oliver cares about the trailer his name is on and what customer say about them.
22. This is correct. I got a mini tour of the factory by Phil Melfa and he explain that the trailer tubs (his words) are made by Oliver Products and sold to Oliver Travel Trailers. This applies to the wheel sub assembly, it comes from another Oliver company. They are sent out to be dipped.
23. Update: Had time today to work on the plumbing and got to the problem. First, as big thanks for all of you who helped me trouble shoot! I started from the toilet and work back to the city water hook up. The shut off value for the toilet was clean with plenty of pressure, but the hose connection to the toilet was full of what I can only call plastic chips. A lot of them. (SEE IMAGE) I opened the toilet shut off value and used the hose to wash all the derby out on the connection. That fixed the toilet. Next the bathroom sink shower, I started to remove the four screws that hold the towel rack to the cabinet but stopped when I noticed it was clacked in place. Being a day from home I will do this when I get back to the shop. I look forward to seeing the cartage I have heard so much about. Next the kitchen sink, same thing - plastic chips. Cleaned and flowing better now. Last was the water filter on the water pump. Shut the value so no back flow and took off the filter trap. Full of hardened glue strings and bits of black plastic. (SEE IMAGE) How or why this got into my system is an mystery to me. I have had the trailer for a year and always used a water filter on the city water or water tank fill line.
