  1. Yes I have checked for kinks in all the lines. Great idea to fill the fresh water tank and trouble shoot from there! Thank you!
  2. I showed this to Scott Oliver at the Rally and he had not seen it before. The trip to Lake Guntersville has this starting to happen again on both sides. I am going to Hohenwald in June and will see if I can get them to address it. Hope this is helpful to others. Hello All, I wanted to update those of you following this thread on our fenders. We had a service call in Hohenwald last week and I got the opportunity to met Daniel Oliver as he wanted to see our trailer and what was going on with the fenders. He introduced himself and went right to work crawling under our trailer and looking at the fenders. 5 minutes later he was back in front of me saying - "That's not right. Sub-assembly (this is what Oliver calls the tandem wheel carriage) is mounted too far forward by almost an inch." He then went right on to tell me the solution "Going to order you a new sub assembly with no mounting holes drilled in it. This way we don't re-drill your frame and weaken it. Instead we will drill the sub assembly one inch back, to make it all perfect" I have to say Daniel knows his product and made me feel very good about how Oliver was going to address my problem. Few company's admit their mistakes and even fewer fix them on their on dine. Very happy and proud to be a Oliver Owner. It will require another trip back to Hohenwald but, we love TN and it's just another reason to go camping. One interesting note to share: Parked right next to our trailer in the factory service area was the Muckle's trailer. This is the trailer that made us Oliver owners. The Muckle's spend two hours with us that day and it was the best orientation we ever got. I still hear Gary talking to me every time I setup or pack-up our trailer. Onward!
  3. Thanks Mainiac, The only place I have water pressure that is somewhat expectable is the kitchen sink. To put a number to this on a scale from 1 - 10 with 10 being the way it came from the factory it is a 5 at best. The Toilet and Shower are a 1 at best. Regarding what service I had done at Oliver - Wheel bearings, new awning, replace shower fan and fix door latch. No plumbing was touched.
  4. Thanks Bill, I don't have an air compressor as we are camping at this time. (Note to self carry small compressor in truck.) I do have a question about the water pump? Is the small clear bowl the filter? I have not cleaned that yet. As so, should I have the water pump on with city water? I have never done this in the past and had fine water pressure until now.
  5. Thanks Steve, I have removed the shower handled from the line and let the water flow. It still runs at very little volume or pressure. I have have to remove the cartage next.
  6. Thanks Mike, while an expansion tank in on my list of upgrades, I have checked the lines for kinks and can find none. I would appear that where ever there is a bend in the line there are plastic pieces designed to support the line and keep if from bending to a kink.
  7. We had Roamy serviced in Hohenwald yesterday, more on that GREAT Experience in another post. Right now, I could use some help with water pressure. The problem is very low to no water pressure for the toilet and bathroom sink faucet. Yet I have OK water pressure at the kitchen sink just not great like it normally is. Outside Shower pressure is OK but not great also. And here is a list of what I have checked or done with no solution. Checked the water pressure at campsite supply - plenty! Removed my check value - no change. Removed my water filter and check value - no change Removed and cleaned "City Water" washer and screen - no change. Checked all values under curbside bed - they are in correct position for normal water supply Closed and opened toilet water value - is in open position, no change. Removed hand shower screen and cleaned - no change. Removed hand shower from hose - very little water pressure. Am I missing a value? Any ideas of what else I could check? Thanks Foy
  8. I will add my voice to this and think it is a great marketing idea. From my years of marketing experience, I know this is expensive to setup and maintain. If we want quality products and Oliver to over see this business, we need to set our expectation for fairly high priced products. Cost to inventory different sizes and have staff process orders timely adds up. And there are Always ideas that don't sell.
  9. John, thank you for all the thought you out into my situation. Both side of my Oliver are out of center from the fender and are exactly the same - tires to far forward. I have had to replace the curb side finder and now it looks like the driver side will need to be replaced. I have looked at the tracking on the trailer many time when driving (most of the time from feeling like it not back there:) and I have to say it is on the money both left to right and right to left. I'm going to get under the frame today and find some clear reference points and take measurements. I will also look at the shackles as you suggested. Standby I will update later today.
  10. Thank you Linda, Very kind of you. I have about two more weeks of work on my current orders. Once I finish them, I will open ordering back up. If you don't hear from me in two weeks reach out to me. My email is 48ocean@gmail.com

  12. Hey Steve, You may be right. I did look and measure location of bolts, they are the same, meaning no misalignment. Hand-made vs. a robot always has character which makes it unique and one of a kind. I value that and am sure Oliver will find a way to solve my problem.
  13. Hey John! Very kind of you. I truly enjoy my part at the Rally. Coy has me back for 2019 and we are hard at work thinking about how to make next year bigger and better. Daniel Oliver is going to look into this when we get to Hohenwald June. I will report back.
  14. I work in wood for just this reason, the joy and happiness it brings others. Thank you John and David for passing it on.
  15. You are correct we have LT225/75R16. Some that rules out tires. Maybe the location on the frame where the axel assembly was mounted?
  16. You could very well be right. I was speculating as to what would cause the off center. EZ Flex was an add on option for us. So that leaves the larger tire which I was told came on the 2017 Elite II. Even that has be thinking again the the space to the front tire and the back tire would be a problem but it is only the front. Jason E is going to look at it when we go to Hohenwald.
  17. First, a big thanks to John E Davies for helping me think about this problem. Our 2017 Elite II, Hull #227 was one of the first to get the larger rims and tires standard which are great but, when I added on the E-Z Flex Suspension System as an option, the geometry of the wheel fender changed and is off-center now. It's worth checking your clearance if you have not noticed this before. Or as John points out it might just be my Trailer. [attachment file=Oliver Fender.jpg] The bigger rims & tries with the E-Z Flex push the entire wheel assembly forward and out of center in the fender wells. What this does is put the tire less then 2″ from the fiberglass. I have already had to replace one fender do to the tire hitting it and tearing the whole fender off. [attachment file=Tire and Fender.jpg] At the time, Oliver thought I must have picked up something from the road that caused the damage. They did replace it and charged me their cost. It was not until I was clean the rims that I noticed the clearance issue. In pointing this out to Jason with photos, he agreed and refunded my money. Solid customer service! Got to say I love Oliver and how they stand behind their work. Jason told me they were working on a new fender and would let me know. While I have not heard back on this, I showed this to Scott Oliver at the Rally and he had not seen it before. The trip to Lake Guntersville has this starting to happen again on both sides. I am going to Hohenwald in June and will see if I can get them to address it. Hope this is helpful to others.
  18. Thanks John for the thoughts and information. I will start a new tread. I too talked with Jason about mud flaps and told him they should be an add-on. My idea was to build out the sub-frame to accommodate flaps that could be add-on by owner or ordered. I was thinking they should partner with someone like Weather-Tech who make custom mud flaps for trucks. I have a set on my truck, they are build tough, and have taken a beating over the years of service. One way or another they need to address this issue. Thanks again,
  19. John, Really like your mud flaps! I wish Oliver would make a kit for these or made them integrated into the over all fender well. I cant do what you did until I solve a bigger problem but sure like your work. Our 2017 Elite II, Hull #227 was one of the first to get the larger rims and tires standard which are great but, when I added on the E-Z Flex Suspension System as an option, the geometry of the wheel fender changed and is off-center now. 20. For those of you interested in my craft of making cutting board, I though I would do a quick overview of the process. It all starts with templates for the sink, in this case 2017 Elite II. A top cardboard template that is cut to the finished size, faucet location/cut-out and corner details are establish. I second template is made for the bottom which is use to hold the cutting board in place by dropping down into the sink bowl. Once these are checked for fit, I can make as many as I need knowing they will all be the same. Rough saw 1 1/4” thick Cherry and Maple are select and measured for total board feet need to build all the cutting boards. The board are then milled on the jointer to establish a flat bottom side and then passed through the planer for a perfectly flat board. The final thickness is 7/8”. These are then ripped down on the table saw – Cherry to 2 1/3” and the Maple to 1/4”. [attachment file=IMG_0859.JPG] With all the milling done the boards are then arranged in the ship decking pattern and glued together with food safe, water proof glue. These large panels are then cut to rough size cutting boards. Using the top template the corners are rounded and faucet location are cut on the bandsaw. The final size is cut on the table saw for last minute adjustments. The bottom template is then use to mark the bowl location and the wood is removed from around the edges at the router table. This allows the cutting board to sit inside the sink and not move. Last step is sanding and more sanding and more sanding. 80, 120, 220 and 320 grit sandpaper are used. The final step is a coat of mineral oil and they are done. It takes about 3 days to make a run of 4 cutting boards. Some people have ask why I do this? And think I am a bit crazy. It's not for the money for the wood alone cost what I charge. It is for the love of working with wood and created something I can share with others who value my craft. Over the next few week I will begin shipping these board to their new Oliver Owners. I hope they enjoy them as much as I did making them.
