We have the king model, so don't know about the night stand, but there are hatches on both sides that you need access to, one side had the water pump and valves and hot water heater, and the other side has the major electrical connections, although the circuit breakers are under the dinette seat. There's not many times you need to get to the electrical side, but you do need to get to the water valves when winterizing or just to drain the fresh water tank.
When we travel we keep the bed down all the time, and it's not a problem to get to the hatches if need be, but then we use the standard cushions for a mattress. So far we have about 60 nights in the trailer and it's been just fine.

Here is the link to the towel bar we bought. I put it up about 2 weeks ago and we have been on the road now for a week. We spent some time in Jake's Lake,AZ., then up to Bryce Canyon N.P. where we had two days with Don, (mini Oliver gathering) then we are headed over to Arches for a couple days, then work our way back home.
So far it's holding very good and no sign of coming loose, and yes, it's attached on the front of the frig door, and very handy. We also got that screen door handle that I think you posted about.
Last evening, Don and I, did some fresh water tank filling with a bucket and short garden hose. With Carol's help (our own resident expert) and of course reading the manual we got enough water in our tanks to get us to the next camp site. It's always good to do these things at home before you get out in the boonies, but then again, we did a practice run and promply forgot what we did. Dang old people, you can't teach them anything.

We have 2 more nights here in Jacob Lake, AZ looking for Condors, but did not see any yet. We had a bad list on how to get to the viewing area and will try again tomorrow. I think maybe they all went over to Zion, maybe can catch (or see) them there. Gonna watch up with Ron in a couple of days when we leave here. Nice campground, but no water or dump, even the commercial CG down the road will let you dump for $12. but no water.

We have a check list, but it's for the stuff we want to bring along on the trip. We have it broken down by where it will be stored in the trailer, and it's always a work in progress. Cuts down on the 'oh crap we forgot this or that" and we still forget stuff. It makes loading the trailer a lot easier, when it goes in the trailer or the load box, it gets checked of.
As far as prior departure or setting up at the camp site, we have nothing. Just make sure before getting in the TV you do a walk around, make sure jacks are up, doors are shut and locked, steps are up, and the hitch is ready for travel. It's easy to be distracted in the middle of something and forget to finish the job.

I would thing the fittings would match up, but as the shower head is also used for the sink faucet, would that head fit for the sink? You almost have to have one in hand to check the fitting. They did get rave reviews on the one web site I checked.
Guess you could always order one from Amazon and if it doesn't work, send it back.

On July 5th we will be picking up our grandson in Troutville, VA and heading to the Wallops Flight Center on the VA coast. We are hoping to see a rocket launch and play around in the ocean, and maybe even do some fishing. Who knows, maybe even get the boy interested in the space industry, that's if we can get him to put down the video games.
Should be a fun summer.

Bill, I don't have the dove tail drawers but I expect the measurements are the same.
161/2 wide by 11 deep
The steps are 22 15/16 wide by 8 1/4 deep and the tread itself is 1/8 and the aluminum casement that wraps around the step is 1 1/4
I figured you would be out in the Rockies by now, picking up trout as fast as you could cast. We are heading out to Utah the end of the week.

We got the cell phone booster and the local TV antenna as a add on. We were on our way to Savannah, GA last Nov to our daughters and just dropped the trailer off on our way. The cell booster is a big help in getting a signal where otherwise you get nothing. We use our cell phones hot spot to get internet and sometimes we would have no signal, but a few campsites away there would be a signal and now with the booster it works.
We also have the full bed, but we choose to let is setup as a bed full time. It's too much trouble to remake the bed every night. The small dinette works just fine.

At $800 bucks, I don't think so. We got a small cooler that plugs in to the cigarette lighter outlet and use that to supplement the frig. It would be nice to have a little more freezer space.
As far as innovations, I would still like to have a small window behind the sink.

Yo Don,
We are doing 2 weeks in Utah in mid June also. I looked at your itinerary but haven't compared it to our plans yet. We have some things nailed down, but still working on it. Our first night is also in Goodland at the service area just west of town on I70. Price is right and it's a nice place for a overnight.
Would be nice if we can match up somewhere alone the line.

While on the subject of changes, the old format listed the users city and state, which is nice to know where that person is from, without having to go to their profile. Any chance of getting this feature back?

We ave had problems with the bubble also, so we keep a small 6" level in the junk drawer and level off the counter between the sink and stove. I figure having the frying pan level is a good thing.

If you have a few minutes, while at Fall Hollow, take a ride up the parkway about a half mile to the pull off, and follow the trail back to the waterfall. It's pretty neat and you can walk behind the the falls and look out through the falling water.

Regarding the noise problem on the Coleman Mach 8, has anyone installed this hush kit? http://www.perfectcasita.com/fred.html
We only used our AC once last summer and since we are on the door step of summer, we are again thinking of this solution. The Casita folks seem to be happy with the lower noise volume. Just wondering if any of the Oliver folks had given it a try.
You would have thought the Coleman brainiacs would have figured it out on their own.

Nice fish, better looking the the 5 channel cats Carol and I caught in out pond Saturday evening. Only 2 were big enough to eat ,and they were border line. The one small bass was also a throw back too.
I was so impressed by your 6x6 blocks, that I made some for my trailer too. A lot better then dealing with a bunch of 2x6's.
We are in the process of planning a trip to southern Utah for this summer, maybe June. We have done nothing since our Florida trip last February. Time to "get it in gear".

I brought this idea up way back when we bought ours, and Robert shot it down. I still think it's a good idea. Might be worthwhile to revisit the idea again with the folks at Oliver.

We had some electrical issues that was caused when we took the trailer back to the factory for some warranty work. We had the work done by a local RV shop close by after getting approval from Dustin at the factory. It only took about a hour and half to fix the problem. There was no problem getting the shop paid, except they sent the check to the shop instead of me. The shop insisted I pay for repairs, since he had pervious trouble getting warranty payments from other trailer brands. We got it all worked out in due time. Communication is everything.

Do you get the table top with the twin model? If you do that connects the 2 sides to make your king size bed. The only think you are missing is the short piece that goes on the front, and I'm sure they could send you that easy enough.
