  1. I hear you. If I've learned anything, it's that the wisdom of the crowd is usually right. Thanks the feedback! This mod will quietly be put to rest.
  2. I guess my issue is two fold. Visiting an out house or toilet with a bucket of pee is very much like visiting a dump station with a sewer hose. With this addition, I hope to do that less...ideally making this setup less time consuming and allow me to avoid dump stations or toilets for longer. Secondly, I don't think the black tank will get too gross just because I'm not adding any solid waste and a water rinse should be all I'd need to clear out most of the smell if any developed.
  3. I'm thinking about running a pex line from my composting toilet urine collection tray to my unused black tank below. Has anyone done this and do you have pictures? The attached bucket fills up quickly and I believe it would be a savings to just run a direct line to the black tank to capture only urine.
  4. I would be interested in adjusting my awning too. Following this post.
  5. I don't know much about zerks but I'd like to replace the zerks that are standard with 90 degree ones that would be easier to access with the wheels on. Does anyone have a link to the right size so I get the correct one?
  6. So what ladder do you all use. And how do you safely lean the ladder against the side of your Ollie so you don't fall and the Ollie remains scratch free? I've seen alot of pictures of the innards of the A/C or the fan but I'm not sure I'd feel safe working on those without a well thought out plan for how to get up and down.
  7. It's amazing to me the shear variety of ways to do something like hook up the whale tail. I've never used the jack to raise the TV and create slack (though I will in the future) but I have stood on the sway chains before I disconnect so I have as much slack on both sides as possible. That works well for me. And then I just make sure to line up the TV the same way when I go to hook back up. Angle doesn't matter then because I got slack before I unhooked.
  8. Hull 724. Picked up in January. Ran into a few snags but nothing OTT and I couldn't handle EXCEPT one. There is a humm coming from the speakers when I use Blu tooth on the Furrion radio. I've had that radio out so many times trying to isolate the problem and I would really appreciate some help. First I figured the hum might be from the solar connectors...they are in the same box and carry serious electricity. Alas, no. I flipped the solar panel switch and the hum remained. Just for good measure and because I like to organize rat's nest I wrapped the solar electric cords in copper tape to prevent electric interference from bleeding into the Furrion radio. The next thing I tried was to fix the ground loop thinking that might be the cause of the hum. I bought a 30 amp noise filter https://www.amazon.com/Install-Bay-IBNF30-Noise-Filter/dp/B00691PDQK but that didn't work either...even after grounding it to the head unit housing and then, when that didn't work, running a ground wire from the receptacle ground and using that. I thought maybe trying to use the black ground line from the Furrion but I don't think that would make a difference. I might just have to deal with the hum. Would really appreciate your help. Thanks all!
