  1. Thanks for another fun year at Green Eggs and Ham! 85 trailers in the woods, gettin’ their St. Patrick’s Day Green on. Now we can go off to more adventures until next year. Participants were sent the final roster via email yesterday (with a link like the schedule). Check the rally’s website throughout the year for 2020 updates at: http://www.rvcompass.com/GEHrally/
  2. Happy National Dr. Seuss Day! Only 11 more days for Green Eggs and Ham :-)
  3. GE&H Schedule Out Next Week We’re heading into our final leg of preparations! Next week the schedule of events will be released to registered participants, and the rig fee will increase for late registrants. If you booked a site for the rally but haven’t signed up yet, do it now at http://www.rvcompass.com/GEHrally/signup.html Leprechauns are making lanyards. They are busy in the workshop building the 9tth annual Green Eggs and Ham to be the best yet!
  4. Oh for crying out loud… That’s what happens when you want to party with a bunch of engineers and so-called intellects. They’ll even pick apart your expressive poetry. Y’all need to get out and do some more camping! BTW John, I think you meant to pin our second campground, Rush No More RV Resort in post #157854. Not Bulldog Creek Campground (intersection)?
  5. This rally will not appeal to everyone with a travel trailer. It is designed for those who want to explore the Black Hills and know how to advantageously plan to have a nearby camp for minimal day driving. It’s also designed to take advantage of having a home on wheels. We’re not singing "Kum ba yah"; this rally is for those who want to maximize our week to explore the multitude of nearby attractions, and a lot of the customized daily schedule is up to the participant. This rally is attracting independent spirits that just want fiberglass trailer camp camaraderie. That's as much as I can offer you. If you're seeking a full-blown event schedule with everything planned for you, then maybe you shouldn't attend.
  6. Hi John, I just noticed your comment below that giant screen shot you posted. We never put out a schedule of events this early from a rally. As the Website already states: "Registered participants will have the rally itinerary by Mid-July". A schedule of events is heavily dependent on the number of anticipated participants. Fluidity matters. We are currently working on events, but will not project anything this early into the year. There will be a lot of exploratory time for participants. That's why we post so many links on the rally Website. At this time, participants are expected to do homework on what would interest them from a myriad of options.
  7. John, Thank you! between your comment and #fijiwatergirl, I came up with a "taste" line for the rally. Working on it right now and should be posted by the end of the night on the Inyan home page.
  8. Take it easy on yourself, John. There is no mystical symbology. Simply explained: Use all of your innate senses to observe the wonderful world surrounding you. Would love to have you join us for this unique gathering. (Oops! Although I did get smell, touch, sight and hearing, I missed taste. My bad. Can't nail everything, every time.)
  9. Have a site at Gunter Hill? Get your registration in with Green Eggs and Ham! The leprechauns have begun working on the schedule for attendees and they need to know who’s coming. 16. Great to see the 2019 reservations coming in! Hey Folks, Nice to see the 2019 registration happen. All I ask is give me extra time this week in responding to check requests. I just drove 14 hours this morning from Wilmington, NC to evacuate Hurricane Florence. Needless to say things are a bit out-of-whack at the moment and Internet will not be consistent. Guaranteed. I'll get up with you as soon as I have some sit-down time and good Wi-Fi connection. Register at the Green Eggs and Ham Website: http://www.rvcompass.com/GEHrally/signup.html
  17. We're up and running for online reservations, about 1 week away. This year Jim has offered to coordinate a morning of golf at Capital Hill, which is linked on the rally Website. Early Bird rig fee rates have also dropped from last year, now $8. until Mid-December. As soon as you make reservations with Gunter Hill, register with us and be a VIP! 20. Exciting news…I’ve been designing a new monthly rally e-newsletter called The Roost. The introductory issue is scheduled to be sent out next week and will feature fiberglass trailer rallies in July. I’d love to get submissions on event-related content such as a focus on an awesome rally coordinator or a few photos and description of an upcoming rally. It doesn’t have to be lengthy; 200 words is plenty. If you’re interested in receiving the newsletter and haven’t signed up yet at RV Compass, you can do so at: http://www.rvcompass.com/attend.html
  21. The follow-up email to 2018 attendees has been sent out March 22, 2018. If you did not receive it, please check your spam/junk folder first before writing Jeannine to re-send. Look for subject line: Green Eggs Follow-up The rally’s Website is updated for 2019. Please continue to refer to the site for the most up-to-date information. http://www.rvcompass.com/GEHrally/index.html
  22. Green Eggs is almost here! I’ll be in communication until Friday evening, March 9th. Otherwise, safe and enjoyable travels and I’ll see y’all at the biggest Ham event ever next week.
  23. Volunteering... and editing. It's visible and works. Nice!
  24. I'm getting on the "not seeing edit or preview button" train too. Just posted (MacBook Pro/Safari) and saw neither button option. Yikes!
  25. Schedule of Events will be available this week We snuck into the leprechauns workshop today, and they’ve been very busy for the Green Eggs and Ham attendees. Hand crafted green lanyards! Registration will CLOSE on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. No rig fee refunds will be given past this date. Can't remember if you registered? Please double check before registering and paying again!
